sun is coming up with beautiful views on a cold clear morning, 27 in Markham VA. 37 at home in NC.
So clear out can see to the horizon where the tiny bump of Sugar Loaf Mountain all the way up in Maryland can be seen. Something like sixty miles away; wasn't sure one could see that far with plain eyes. I think we are about 1100 feet up here, enough for nice views in one direction.
Right above my brother's home is the Appalachian Walking Trail.
Local story of problems with shooting wild turkeys for Thanksgiving. Apparently due to the invasion of stink bugs, the turkeys are eating the stink bugs, and apparently taste pretty bad when cooked.
I just have visions of David strumming his ukulele and wiggling around in his grass skirt. Not sure YouTube could handle it...
Wow, RS is at it again. Another Eiffel Tower. Building one's own tractor cab, takes a lot of skill. I just want to know who that handsome guy is in the picture.
May you all have a nice Thanksgiving, those who celebrate this occasion. I guess every country has their own Thanksgiving of some sort.
Am starting to feel bad for Roy going turkeyless. Woke up this morning to smell of onions frying in the kitchen; I knew my brother's wife was up and getting things going. Turkey brined all night, cooking slowly for mid afternoon meal.
