I've followed your posts, Drew...so I do know the history of your neighbor. I'm just not real happy about a TBNer being accused of being a troll without just cause.

Read his post in other threads. All his post that I read are comments that are looking for someone to disagree with his statements. If he is not a troll. He is the next thing to it.

Did some electric work in the barn, then mowed the yard. Never got to mow the field.
Saw a couple deer as i mowed along the creek.

Soy beans getting harvested down the street, heard the roar of the combine for hours. Very dry and dusty.

Got the wood for the carryall cut, now lots of holes to drill and hardware to attach, including a small toolbox.

BTW, Don, the Instant Pot got a good review in the latest issue of Consumer Reports magazine, though I don't understand their complaint about not being able to brown chicken.

They probably did not see the little light that has the lo/med/hi temp setting under the low pressure/hi pressure lights and were trying to brown chicken on the low temp setting.
On preparing a lot of meals we usually have 2 Instant Pots going. I have another new one in the closet in case we need 3.

Yesterday I made plant based salmon patties using 2 Instant Pots and the oven. (main ingredients potatoes, broccoli and spices)
Right now the air fryer is going making sweet potato fries and right before that air fried green beans.
Love my gadgets.

Good evening all. 70F this morning, overcast light showers in area, maybe trace of rain here, no water in rain gauge. Heavy overcast all day, strong wind (15 mph+) all day, high temp 84F. Line of weather coming through tonight, but not much rain . Bike ride this morning, crossed 5,000 miles for the year this week. Rearranged garage to put vehicles in garage with golf cart and bikes.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 47° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 75° with partly cloudy skies. Need to get one of rear tires off tractor. It has a slow leak. Will try to repair myself. But I think it's to big for my little HF tire changer. Will drop it off at tire shop tomorrow. Need to do some weeding in one of the flower gardens. Then a little NASCAR in afternoon.
Eric, Congrats to parents and grand parents.
Buckeye, not a UFO. It's a water tower. Oh I looked at picture on my computer. It may be a UFO compete with red flashing lights.
Mostly, 5K miles. :thumbsup: I thought I was doing good with little over 50 miles on my bike this year.

Going to paint the sheet metal on the new tractor today. One Ferrari red Massey coming up.

We went to Virginia Beach for a wedding yesterday. Great outdoor setting on a lake and good time with family and friends. Got home late.

Still didn't see any of the Orionids outside this morning...stood out there in my shorts for a while watching until I got cold...not a single shooting star.

40F clear sky mid 70's for high.
Yesterday 90% outside from dawn to dusk,my back pockets were dragging come 6pm.
Today trip to town for fuel and boots,afternoon mow the high places,watch little NASCAR and football maybe.
Yesterday and today youth weekend deer season,could not but help noticing which were hunting and those weren't...road hunters.
Notice 27 turkeys picking front field one of kitten giving them stare down/attack mode inside thru picture window. :laughing:

World Series Game 1 Tuesday evening in LA.

Forecast to be 93 at game time .... our boys will be glad to get back to air conditioned ball park late next week.

41 right now...low 70's for the high. Pretty much a repeat of yesterday.
Plan today is getting squared away for a trip to Dallas Texas tomorrow. I'll be in Dallas until Friday for a seminar.
I've got a couple customer issues to deal with...today would be a good start.

A buddy of mine (gun dealer) sighted in that Ruger rifle....should be dropped off here today. I promised another buddy he could give it a try out while I'm out of town. If time permits, I'll put a few rounds through it too....

The low this morning was 33*, yesterday's high was 43*. Today's going to be in the mid 50's with some clouds. The wind was 25-35 all day yesterday. Going to be the same today. I think I need bigger pockets to put more rocks in them.

Didn't get any of the jobs done . The neighbors didn't want to work on the bridge because it was to cold with the wind. I felt the same way about working on the tractor in a unheated garage. I'll see what happens today.

Good morning! Drew has me looking for a place nearby where he could move to to be by neighbor. All I have to do is to start drinking a lot and trade my Kubota with Kyle's John Deere to qualify. (Unless Kyle has his fixed then I have to get Mom's JD-B)

As it so happens, the house next door with 5 acres is for sale Drew. It will come with "uncle" rights to my kids (offer to you only). The tractor is mostly fixed. It does have a hood, and I usually don't get stupid drunk.

Don in reality it's probably my insashable appetite for expensive toys that keep me working. That and insurance that costs way more than any house payment we ever had. I just turned 64 actually this past Monday and figure I have two or three more years left in me before grazing in the field time comes

A late Good Morning from me, more like Good Afternoon, but one bit of news to tell.

Yesterday we went over to Manchester to collect our grandson from school, as his mum had gone into hospital.

He missed her last night, but cheered up this morning when we were able to tell him that he now has a little 7lb 6oz baby brother.

Congrats Eric to your family for the new member.

I got back yesterday from the fishing trip. Weather and tide played an unusually large part during the trip. Actually the weather moved just a little to the east, allowing us to have a morning and afternoon/evening fish on Friday. We fished until the sun went down and then tried to do some floundering, but the tide was so unusually high, the water was just about covering all the salt grass. So, the sandy bottom areas had over 3 feet of water covering them and we gave up. It was OK though. We were wore out. We probably caught over 30 fish but only about 7 were the minimum size needed to keep.

I will cook them up after church today.

We just had about 1.5" of rain and some lightning. A front passed through and dropped the temps from 75ish to 60. The United States Formula 1 Grand Prix is on NBC starting at 1 or 2 pm central time. The track is just 45 minutes west of Don and I. Very nice facility. I have been to the MotoGP race there once. It should be a dry, cool race today, once the track dries.

Happy belated birthday Buppies! Spent the day at our son’s house in Front Royal, VA yesterday, helped him install his Katskinz leather seat covers on his Tacoma. Nice visit with two of my grandsons. Pretty weather both days. I’m gettin too old to drive 400 miles round trip, work all day and get in bed at 2 AM though.
Going to visit Mom at the nursing home today, haven’t been since Wednesday, I’m a bad son. I hate to miss too much, I’m the only visitor she has with rare exception.
Got an estimate on the concrete for my building. :shocked:
