About 42 this AM. Incredible day yesterday, today looks to be on par.

Need to return to the sink today. Seems it sprung a leak from the faucet last night. ?????

Got my barn spot painted and my primer bulb replaced in my blowers! Yippie. The sinks the only thing left on the honey-do list.

Have a great day all.

I'm almost certain that Don and his wifey had some really bad weather last night. A thunderstorm wind gust of 78 mph was recorded nearby. Here 20 miles south, our local winds were not so bad fortunately. Over 700 lightning strikes in 10 minutes.

SSSHHH! Don't let your wife hear that!

10 looking for a high of 36 and sunny!
Gonna relocate some more snow today and maybe install the lighter socket in the tractor that I bought last summer.
Next on my list of things to do are the backup lights on the Jeep and install a new CB antenna. I have everything to do both jobs EXCEPT the ambition.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 51° with some fog this morning. Heading to 68° with some clouds. Rain over weekend was over 2". Enough to cause flooding on roads that cross river beds that do not have bridges. Need to do some RV maintenance today.
RNG, nice cycle pictures.
Do, good to see you back.
Good Morning All.

44 headed to 72 today. Dense fog advisory out.

Headed back to Louisville today. My grandfather has a doctors appointment and asked if I could take them. Louisville has too much traffic for them to drive in.

Good morning! Storm came from the West last night and now is coming back slowly from the east 1.75" so far. 58˚ and raining. My newly reworked sand spillway behind my dam is probably eroding like California because the grass has not had time to grow.

While swinging in a hammock on a tropical Island, some Mexicans were working on a tiki hut nearby. It gave me some ideas for my island. Another project may be in the works. I should have everything ready to go by the time that RV from Michigan passes by . . .:D

48°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 75° today. Rained a bit Saturday, and very foggy most of the morning on Sunday.

The harp concert Friday evening was excellent. Very talented ladies. It was performed in a relatively new catholic church, and the acoustics in there were very good for music (as a former pipe organ builder, I can tell you that's something of a rarity in most modern churches). They played half the program on grand concert harps, and the other half on the electrics. Program was a mix of classic rock and metal songs, ranging from Rolling Stones' "Paint It Black" to Iron Maiden's "The Trooper" as an encore. They performed Metallica's "One" live for the first time (both playing on one harp). They were very interactive with the audience, and it was a fun show. The place was packed, probably 350-ish people.

Got a bunch of work done over the weekend. Finished cleaning the fencing debris out of the pasture, and moved a bunch of concrete chunks to the dumpster yesterday. We got the inside of the new sunroom painted on Saturday, and yesterday The Wife brushed and sanded a couple of metal bistro sets before repainting. The black one will remain outside, but the white one is now in the sunroom. Hung wind chimes in front of every window (10 of them), and she smiled like a little girl every time one of them sounded. She hung a sign that reads "This is my Happy Place," and for her it already is. Flooring is scheduled for the 27th.

Toppop, how are you feeling this morning?

probably since I live alone and don't interact with kids very much, I rarely get sick, maybe once every ten years.
I wash my hands a lot, every time I come home after touching the supermarket door handles, carts, bathroom doors, etc etc. I got the senior flu shot this year, geez a 50% success rate on the flu shot isn't very good.

David/Sodamo, stay safe up on those panels. When will the "new juice" start flowing?

Thanks for asking, very slowly recovering, wife thinks I'm playing it up I think, but I was a sick puppy.

Pretty last couple of days, 70 yesterday, around 60 today I think they said.Grass is greening up.

64°F and .66 inches rain last 24 hours.
Powerwashing rained out yesterday so hopefully today and if all goes well start fabricating my new solar supports.

Be safe
Have a great day

Good Morning! 54F @ 9:20AM. Showers early, becoming a steady rain for the afternoon. Windy. High around 50F. Winds SSE at 25 to 35 mph. Chance of rain 100%. Rainfall near a half an inch. Significant flooding is expected.

Late reporting in; sure took a long time to catch up with you guys! Don was on a cruise and I didn't even miss him, Larro came and went, Eric is busy lambing, the Eastern folks are digging out after another snowstorm, Drew reforested most of the state, David's almost ready to harvest all the sun in Hawaii to fill his new batteries, and the usual projects are being successfully conquered. All this and I didn't even have to lift a finger!

I did notice the TBN outage, but wasn't sure if it was lousy Internet, my tiny phone, or what. Didn't seem to slow the posts on TBN down much though.

Thanks for asking, very slowly recovering, wife thinks I'm playing it up I think, but I was a sick puppy.

Glad you're through the worst Randy. Milk that down time as long as you can. You've earned it!

Eric, I think you've got the slope backwards on crazy laws. They almost always start in Jolly ol' England and run down hill to Kalifornia. Been that way since the days of English common law, and just keeps gittin' worse!

Looking out the window at the lake this morning it seems they're serious about keeping the level 50' below the top. I bet someone really got called on the carpet for letting it go over that right in the middle of our rainy season, but now starts the tug'o'war between the big water users and the safetycrats at the dam to let the thing fill all the way up just as summer starts. Wonder who will win?

Our congress critter is making a strong pitch for going after all the neglected infrastructure projects and using the Oroville Dam as a battering ram. Wonder how they missed all that work when the previous administration was busy flushing "shovel ready" jobs out of the woodwork?

The hummingbirds are having a heck of a time with the feeders as they swing in the wind this morning. And the new hanger wire I put on one last week is almost long enough to let it bang into the glass sliding door, bad news for both it and the hummers as it swings an even bigger arc than the other ones.

Today's a catch up and unpack day, not much else planned except maybe a nap.:D

Good evening all. 57F cloudy this morning, calm wind and .3 in. in the rain gauge. Had a bunch of errands to do today, including getting fit for new bike, and bringing it home. Pics soon. Did get new cycle computer mounted and rough calibration done. Still have not finished the endoscope camera on tablet project :(

Jim the ride looks nice, reminds me of the Katy trail, 240 miles of old MKT railroad bed, have ridden it twice full length once in 4 days, and once in 5.

Randy glad to hear the health trend is up, prayers sent.

RNG sounds like a fun camping trip, when do you get back on the VW bus project?

Don, good work losing weight on a cruise :licking: :confused2:

Good morning all. Some of the ewes couldn't wait for transport to the maternity unit, another 4 born in the field last night. Fortunately the weather was kind, nowhere near as cold as Roy and dry too so they were fine.

RNG, I hadn't realised that Kalifornia keeps on gradually adopting the worst laws from England. Sorry to let you know that you may have a whole new raft of barmy Euro inspired legislation coming your way.

Mostly, love to see the pictures of your new bike. Not so sure about the endoscope pics - depends where the camera goes

16F now mid 40's for high.

Another sign of spring, town posted back road weight limits 6 TON yesterday.

Enjoy the day all.

38 going to 61...will feel cool after the last few days in the mid 70s.

Spent another day painting. Decided to add a second coat, although I used the "expensive" paint that claimed a one coat coverage. Still have the east wall to do, but ran out of paint. Plan to pick that up this morning and back at it. Buppies, Coco is a good watcher, but not much help.

Did anyone see the TBN newsletter email...pix of "Tractors in Trouble." Looks like some of our TBN friends have run into some soft muddy ground and buried their tractors.

Forsythia already blooming on a couple of plants in pots that we dug up last fall to transplant.

40 out this AM. Tackled the sink for a few hours yesterday, than sat by the pool for the better part of the day. Pool is closed, but the view and company were great.

Have a great day all, be safe.

Good morning! 52˚ heading to 74˚ sunny - They just don't make February days better than this! I declare this a Party Day - everyone can take off work.

Another thought about the cruise:
One thing I did notice about the cruise was that the people were so nice, just like the morning thread. One thing was never discussed or brought up was politics, not even by the comics during their shows.
