We're getting a sideways snow shower in 40 mph winds right now, but it was bright and sunny an hour ago, quite cold after yesterday's 72.

Oh yeah, we had big thunderstorms this morning that ended in some light snow that didn't stick. These are just passing flurries. As for my golf game, I'd score about the same in 40 mph wind as I do on sunny calm day.

I went outside around 2PM to blow a path between the house and garage and around the house to provide
a path for Max, our Bichon Frise, to do his duties without getting in over his head. 12-13 inches so far and
still coming down at one to two inches/hour, but heaviest seems to be moving south now.
Will certainly have some seat time tonight when it's done.

We, in Texas, are feeling your pain. It got up to 89 degrees here yesterday but, a cold front came thru overnight so, will barely make it up to 75 today.

Our pastures are still green and I spent morning mowing.

My oldest stepson recently moved to San Marcos. He posts daily on Facebook about working out at his outdoor gym. Says he doesn't miss Illinois at all (not in those exact words ... his are a bit more of the blue language variety).
Sure hope he still feels that way in July/August. :laughing:

Wow, I just had a complete white out that reminded me of Greenland. I think I had a flashback.

I mean yesterday, in the seventies, now it's like the artic. I got like, snow on the ground, WTH?

PA today say my grandson still has some fluid in the right lung, but he's acted fine for two days. My wife told our daughter to be sure he sees the doctor next week, not the PA.

We just had a gust to 62 mph! I went on the deck because an outlet cover was flapping in the wind, I started to come in the door and the wind literally blew me down the steps. I'm more nimble than I thought, I hit every step, got to the ground, curtsied to the wife watching through the door and went about my business.

I know. He knows, too. He just doesn't want to remember. While in the Army, he spent his stateside time at Ft. Hood. He's only been out for about 3 years. He'll remember soon enough. :fiery:

Woke up at 3 am to heavy rain. Later I didn't hear it, so thought it either stopped or turned to snow. Looked out at 4 am and everything was white. Got 3" , none at work. Ice on the trees.

64 in Englewood Florida. I am visiting the folks for a few days. Weather is great, but miss my wife. My has 18f right now. Ugh. Lots of catching up with the folks. Going to spend some time with dad tomorrow.

17 inches from the storm with drifts higher than my bucket. Temp is dropping to the single digits tonight with high winds. Should have a full driveway again just from the drifts. Will be up early in the morning. At least it is nice and cozy in the cab.

Next week might and only might deliver a big storm to your area might make up for your lack of snow this year. Also there are now signs of colder and stormy conditions now until mid March

Good evening all. 32F this morning, mostly clear, light wind from north. Temp rose to 59F, skies stayed clear and winds remained moderate today. Wind next few days, and rain forecast for Monday and Tuesday, about 2 in worth. Started a fire in the insert last night, so revived it this morning. Had to take wife to chiropractor this morning and got oil changed in the van while I waited. after lunch the wife made 2 stops for her project and a grocery stop then headed home. Got a really nice ride in today with the moderate wind, but wind foreacst to be 25-35 mph, less fun to ride in. Need to get SWMBO to point to the spot and get tree planted .
