You just need RS to make you a scale grapple for it.

Great idea Kyle, RS, that would be in 1:50th scale please.
By the way, I have not been able to find any Kubota diecast model of any kind in 1:50 scale for the layout. Any of you know of any????
Been looking for one to add to the antique tractor and auto show scene I have on the Western Adventure side of the table. I have found lots of other scales but no 1:50th stuff. :irked:

Good morning all. Either we missed frost for once, or I got up a little too late to see it. Have plenty of inside jobs lined up for today as it's set to be a day of sleet and wind.

Sorry to disappoint you Drew, I grew up in Yorkshire, on the other side of the Pennine hills to Liverpool, so in my youth the Beatles home town felt very far away. The traditional way to approach Liverpool from where I now live in Shropshire would have been to travel up and then take a ferry across the river Mersey. 49 going to 63 in drizzle. Got a couple of gully washers last night - added up to .93 inches.

Gerry and the Pacemakers - brings back memories! Always figured it was an actual river - good to read this interesting history.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 44° with light rain this morning. Heading to 52° with light rain in the morning. Then cloudy skies rest of day. Hope to get lawn cut in afternoon. Not going to be a good day. Comcast is up to their usual operations of not doing what they say is going to be done. Usually takes a couple hours on phone to get things running properly. Good thing I have OTA antenna, AT&T wi-fi hot spot, and cell phone.
Good Morning All.

Good morning all. 53 going to 66 today. Misty rain this am then partly sunny. We have had over an inch of rain in the last few days, calling for rain-showers for most of the next week or so. Broke down yesterday and bought a brolly to keep in the car. Looks like it will come in handy for a while.
Spent the day yesterday on the road back and forth to the new bank, actually is a credit union, getting papers signed and delivered for the new house. No nap at all yesterday so I slept in this am. Did not get up until 6:30, Nice to be lazy every now and again.

Rs glad the grapple held up. Hard to think that after all that work it might not.
Buckeye Hope your retirement job is more enjoyable than your last one.

Eric, I made several visits to Campbell-Laird Shipyard, in Birkenhead, across the River Mersey from Liverpool, back in the 1980's.
