Thanks, that looks like it, it's a bit greener than the picture but the shape and arrangement are right.I don't have any pictures and it's not warm enough for it to be growing good yet. I'll try one of those remedies.

We are trying Bonide Weed Beater Complete this year. It is both a pre-emergent and post-emergent. It is labeled to control nut sedge.

I have been catching up with this thread as the iPad app decided to unsubscribe me about 4 days ago.

Kyle, I did have my blue work shirt and blue Wranglers on yesterday.

Everyone have a great day! We are having Chamber of Commerce weather in our part of Texas today.

30.5F with bright sun ... place looks like a winter wonderland. We hit a low of 24F this morning around 05:00 ... don't imagine the plants are going to like that very much.

Wind was really howling last night ... didn't hear trees break or fall though ... but it did set off the PIR motion sensor on the front door once.

Probably spend today up in the shop working on the grapple ... if I can get away with it :D

Good morning. I woke up this morning before the daily "Take Max Out" alarm on my phone had chance to rouse me. The birds outside had woken me early, in stereo.

Although my hearing is starting to fail, there is still nothing more pleasant than to wake up listening to birdsong, singing out that springtime is here - except that didn't happen this morning.
Even with the bed covering pulled up over my ears, I couldn't fail to hear the woodpecker, hammering away in search of grubs who were more than a little reluctant to become breakfast. Each time the woodpecker paused, a cock pheasant called out even louder in encouragement from the field behind. Time to get up.
Eric,

Them guys have been hammering away for the past couple of weeks around here as well ... even the big pileated ones ...

Hopefully it will soon dry up, then I will get the stick welder out and have another play. When you see RS's awesome fabrication talents, multiply that skill level by 0.001 and you can get an idea of where my welding ability is right now :)
LOL ... keep at it ... you'll get the hang of it.

And in the process probably learn that a little molten metal can cover up all sorts of errors and imperfections ...

Yikes! That awful S word....
and I"m trying to decide if I can risk putting tomato plants in this week with two nights predicted going down to 35. Am thinking tomato plants won't like those temps, best to wait another week.
Probably be a wise move ... ;)

Need to clean all the pollen off everything. I powerwash and then use the leaf blower to dry everything off, then I run all engines and mower decks afterward. I usually stick with just air blasting but sometimes you just have to wash...
After doing this for several hours, I think my resolve will be firmed up to enclose one of the barn side sheds so I can at least keep my garden tractors clean.

I'll look into that one, too, thanks!

38° this morning, wind is down to 40 mph gusts, sustained around 25 mph. We had hail overnight and sustained winds in the 40 mph range, with gusts to 65 mph a couple of times. It blew three of my tile flower pots about 250' from where they were stored. None broke. Forecast is 49° today, 72° tomorrow, 46° Tuesday. Springtime on Delmarva!

And happy anniversary Buckeye!
