Mid 20's overnight, mid 40's today. Looks like most precip is going to miss us now, except a mix on Tueday. Then a gradual cool down until next Sunday when the high is predicted at 22°. Too cold for me!

this old pear tree is going to be in for an unpleasant surprise, the week coming is way too cold for Spring blossoms.
Reminds me I have to get the dormant spray on the orchard this week.

Almost, as Eric would say "Just one more sleep", (excluding naps). It's not a really a secret I just can't put the pic on line sooner, and as we all know here if there isn't a pic, it didn't happen. (Hint: epic mistake of the year.)

32 this morning and headed to 56. Currently 53.

Watching the boy today. Wife is going into school to do her weekly lesson plans. Boys not feeling good. Will probably have him at doctor tomorrow.

Didn't get to building yesterday. I had a water hydrant leaking and well I decided to dig it up and fix it. Then it broke. So I had to put a shutoff valve on it. Been wanting to move it anyways. So I started trying to find the line about 50 feet away. No luck yet. But have most of the trench doug going to the new spot. Moving it inside the feed room of the barn. Hopefully it will add some frost protection. I cheated and used the tractor bucket to dig the first foot. 2 foot frost line here. If wife gets back in time I'll do some more work on it.

Thanks guys. We are excited. This will be our last child. Wife says she's too old to have any more.

OH Roy I clicked! But what ever you do do not push the little cc button at the bottom. The closed caption made some very serious mistakes that I bet will change shortly, or she will be in very big trouble!!!!!!

Not a fan of either team or quarterbacks but If I had to pick 1 it probably be the Broncos so Payton can win his final game.:confused3:

Congrats Farmer, but she sure got that right. We had our 2.5 year old grand son yesterday. Put him down for a nap and while he was napping he decided to fill his diaper with #2 and then he did not like so he took it off in bed. I don't think I have to explain much more than that. Yep you got to be young.

Wow. Take a week off, and I read over a dozen pages. Just been busy with family things. In the 40's today, getting colder for a few days. As long as we don't get a ton of snow, I can live with that.

Good morning. After a whole glorious hour of sunshine yesterday it was soon back to the wet and windy conditions we are getting to know so well. Today we are on the edge of storm they have named Imogen. She is set to do her worst in the south of the country, with winds on the coast expected to gust up around 80mph.

Drew. It's the same here, even the most sensible plants in the hedgerows have given up on winter and are out in full blossom.
