MossFlower Woods, a place with hopefully less worry now. Time to worry less and enjoy more, with your kids and get into a nice routine. With plenty of seat time of course. Now you know those girls all need to know how to drive a tractor....

David I haven't been very active on TBN as of late but wish you the best with your new job. Remember it is a new beginning for you and your wonderful little girls. Just remember what is important and your priorities. I'm sure it will make the holidays better.

The day is ending as it began, 31F with light mist in the air. That will make for some treacherous driving conditions just like this morning.

Now we have a freezing rain alert 9pm til noon tomorrow. These temps that waver around freezing with precipitation are a pain in the keister.

So the update is I got a job offer (finally!) but on paper it is much less than I was making. I'm uncertain what the court will determine and if they rule against me again... Well I'm just not going to consider that for now.

Hopefully I can make this into the job I need it to be, we shall see.

I deeply thank you all for all the support over the last couple years. I'm sure I will still need it for a while as I'm not out of the woods yet...

Congrats on the new job. I respect the positive attitude you have shown through all of this. Many, many people would give up or become bitter. You seem to have kept your head high through all of this. The signs of a true winner. Good things will come.

waiting for my friend's teapot to boil to get some coffee here; much slower process than I'm used to and when you want that first cup, well, most of you know...
Nice visit with family and friends in PA and DE and headed home in a few hours to a warm rainy day, high in the sixties in Washington NC. At least I'll have a clear drive down and this part from mid Delaware to home is the nicest part of the drive. It is just so nice when the traffic thins out.

Going to just take it easy on the drive and let the fast movers on by. Less of that in NC, seems like the drivers get more frantic and crazy as one goes North. Folks doing 80 in 55's, that sort of thing.
Well in NC, they are going to meet up with some very nice all black Hemi Chargers with a nice silver star on the side. And lots of winky lights.

Oh yeah, just drive by my place and don't stop!

Dave --did you live in Maine during the great ice storm of 1998? In Bangor we had a couple inches of rain that froze and then a couple feet of freezing rain that took out the power for a lot of people from a couple weeks. Not sure to the degree it hit the western part of the state but it was quite an event for us. Good thing we had a generator and plow truck.
