Had a nice Thanksgiving here too. Mom's oven runs a bit, well about 100* over the set temperature, but I worked with that. The fresh, gold-plated, $68 turkey :laughing: was very good. I think it weighed about 23 lbs, no weight given on the package. Ate too much of course. That second helping of mashed potatoes, gravy and turkey are deadly.
After her new clothes dryer gets delivered in the morning--her old one died last Friday--I need to see about the oven. It's always something.
We had around a foot of heavy, wet snow last night at home, not sure what driveway horrors await me there but I anticipate a 3' tall hump of hard frozen plow snow across the entrance.
Cats do love to soak up the heat. It seems like cold is just something they put up with most of the time.
