Might make it to 40 today but rain on way then after next weeks bitter cold snap milder temperatures return as ridge sets up in east and trough in west thru mid December. Birds are happy as feeder is full.

Good Evening. 1715, clear, 54F with 66% humidity. Our high was 64F @ 1315, and a forecast low of 41F with 0% chance of rain tonight. It will be warm Sunday and Monday, with thunderstorms during the day Monday, then a real brutal cold front coming through right on it's heels. 49F/24F on Tuesday. Not looking forward to it. But it will be back in the 70's with more rain by next weekend.

I have spent all day watching bad football. Though the Noles Basketball team did open their season with a win. I watched that game on the radio. And I hope the win streak for the football team continues another week at least. I know they will have to lose sooner or later, but I really don't want it to be against the University of Miami {of Florida}. The wedding folks did decide to hire me for the setup/cleanup, so I will be hoping the wedding goes late so it doesn't infringe on my game time.

Had a good day today, busy day at the dog shop, then back home to clean out the chicken and goat barn. Got some diesel for the bota, some hay for the goat, straw for all the critters, then back home to run the dogs.

Btw, fueled up my bota, used my no spill can I read about on here, didn't spill a drop.

In the world of weather I blew it negative AO didn't hold so milder temperatures on the way after this cold snap next week. Sense I like snow let my wants get in the way. Will try to do better in future.

I will continue to do so hopefully they help some here in their planning for plantings or care of animals.

There is one other thing to add looks like Modiki sp ElNino is getting ready to start if so by Janurary winter will come with vengeance in the East lots of snow ice and cold temperatures

32F @ 02:00 ... looks like we might get a little snow (finally) before sunrise ... followed by a cloudy day with a high of 41F and then more snow overnight. Tuesday is looking pretty ugly - only a high of 22F, with a low of just 8F ...

Just woke up and am having a cup before I head up to the shop.

No luck finding the other half of that PTO shaft ... although I did end up getting a bunch leaf blowing done over around the barn and along the driveway ... lol ...

I can likely use the shaft off of the snow blower ... but I probably have to unbolt it (the one on the chipper was quick-release on both ends) Need to check the barn and shop more thoroughly.

Got a little more cleaning done up at the shop ... also did some prep and grinding for the new backstop on the pallet forks ... might get that welded on later tonight.

I'm just getting in from work. I don't have these super late nights too often, but tonight was one of them. Also something I rarely have, is a drunk bridegroom who refuses to pay the rest of his bill. Luckily he had paid me my cleanup in cash earlier in the evening. The funny thing is, him and his drunk friend had been debating the finer points of religion while his new wife and I got all their stuff cleaned up and stowed in their vehicles. Kind of ironic.

Once again I lived through a come from behind win by the Noles. I know they are taking years off my life every week when they put me through this. There is no doubt that next week Boston College will have the game of their life against us.

I'm going to bed and hope to sleep for a few hours anyway. Then will watch the last Cup race of the year.
