ROY and David i wish you both the best of luck. i would consider it a great day if Roy gets his home and David gets what he needs to get the ranch back to normal, and i get my a*** chewed out for not putting wood in the stove so it will be 80 degrees when the wife gets up.

Roy, I sincerely hope your financing deal goes through because you have endured enough already. And David, very happy to see you post something semi-positive even if just a minor event. I need to check out your thread elsewhere to learn if you have made any progress toward being able to keep your estate going and not have to relocate.

Good Morning! 54˚ heading to 80˚sunny. These are the best weather days in Texas and I'm enjoying them. My wife's uncle has moved from the county back to the city, and has a small trailer he no longer needs. I might buy it for my Mom if the price is right. I need to help Dad move some calves today.

Today is my 2 year HA anniversary day.
For some reason, during the heart attack, (even in the ambulance when I was given nitro and morphine) I could never bring myself to say or think "heart attack", only something does not quite feel right......

To give my knees a break on some days I've added the elliptical (45 minutes) to my cardiac exercise. I also added a weight lifting regimen to my workout to increase strength.
Feeling good, continuing on a low fat - plant based diet.

Don, I can understand the disbelief...

Roy, positive vibes my friend, if it's not this one it only means it wasn't the right one, that one will happen soon.
25 this morning! It was supposed to get near freezing, it needs to go up a bunch to be near freezing! Last year this time the guy was doing my clam shell driveway and I was working in shorts.

Mornin' All, 28 and hazy. Less wind than yesterday but still feels cold. I'm making good progress with winter clean up at the farm but I feel pressure to keep working. Probably only have a couple of weeks before the best time for cleaning up is over. I'm surprised at how many trees have died.

I'm thinking about how blessed we are and how easy it is to forget it when things aren't going well. We are living in the most amazing world if we can somehow find the time to notice.

Good morning. Well should I say afternoon? It's nearly noon here. It's 72F heading up to a nice warm 86F. I'm loving this weather. Was at the shop yesterday patching up the hole in my truck tire that was result of a large rivet that I picked up in my yard during the snow. It was 75F yesterday.

Now I gotta go buy some new tie rods for my truck as they are worn out. Might head to town today and pick them up. It's just lovely were having so far. Though it's supposed to cool down a bit tomorrow.

I'm so ready for this warm weather. I finally have my windows open on my house. Haven't used the wood stove in a week now. Hopefully I don't have to fire the stove up until next winter. lol

Sounds like a potential positive day for our fellow members.

Just love being able to FaceTime with wife on her trip, but the dogs and I sure do miss her.

Don, when I think of you and your HA, I think of Admiral Yamamoto after the Pearl Harbor attack when he said, "I fear all we have done is to awaken a sleeping giant and fill him with a terrible resolve." In your case, you have heart disease on the run and it's ready to surrender. Indeed, your 'terrible resolve' is your best ally.

Don and his resolve reminds me of Lewis Grizzard...a great man of the South,,,,Yahoo! Video Detail for On the Road with Lewis Grizzard (Part 3)

Thanks for all the good wishes, guys...but it didn't work out. Sucks, but I must admit I did learn a few lessons here.
The biggest drag, outside of the disappointment of losing the house, is spending $875 on a home inspection on a home I can't buy...and I'm SOL on that.
Now, the KC bank had a title search done by my lawyer (lawyers do the title seaches in VT). It was ordered by the bank on 04 March. Just called the bank...told 'em they'd best pay that lawyer.
