68 going to 89. So dry we aren't even getting a decent dew to moisten the grass overnight.
Good to read so many progress reports on health. Getting old is not for wussies. Tractors and Monte Carlos and Marshall Tucker are good therapies.
Buppies, sorry to hear your cut was so deep...but at least you've lost some weight this week
. I have my 6 month dermatologist visit in a couple of weeks, and have a couple of spots for her to check.
Freezing already, hawkeye? Let's trade part of our air masses and even things out into the 50s for both of us.
Well, got the dryer working again. First test on it was a failure...still no heat. I started looking on the internet for parts like BEF suggested...thermostat, and cutoff sensor...both mounted on the side of the heater housing that I had to take the dryer completely apart to reach. But there was a discrepancy in part numbers, so I decided to take the dryer apart again to look directly at my parts. Voila! I had forgotten to plug the two heater element wires back onto the connectors after installing and testing. So fixed that, and tested the thermostat and cutoff and reassembled. Washed and dried two loads already...and now I can take our dryer apart with my eyes closed.
Kyle, I had my vacuum going as I removed each part, but there really wasn't much lint in the dryer for over 7 years of frequent use.
