70 and sunny, going to 92.

Thomas, thanks for sharing a pic of Boo Boo...20 yards is too close...about 1.4 seconds away, by my calculations. Glad he likes you (he doesn't know all the devious plans we shared on this forum to run him away).

Jay, really like that NOAA site...changed it to my part of the country, and saved it as a favorite to investigate further. Have a safe trip. Adirondacks are just about my wife's favorite spot.

BEF, hope your dad is doing okay. Sounds painful.

David, we knew you'd find it...glad it wasn't the hard way. Now I need your talent to find my missing receiver hitch.

Kyle, I sprayed about 30 gallons yesterday...2% gly on 5 food plots...I've been waiting so long for the wind to cooperate. I always shower after using it, wear long sleeves and pants and hat, and goggles, but no respirator.

Thomas,
I sure hope that your "friendly" bear isn't getting to comfortable around you and other people. From your postings I get the idea that you really enjoy the wildlife interacting with you. While that can be entertaining and educational I hope that Boo Boo doesn't get to unconcerned and we end up hearing from your next of kin that he decided to be the big dog and removed you.
I've seen people that "befriended" deer and had sweet little bambi eating out of their hands and the next thing you know that doe or buck is tearing them up with those nasty front hooves.
Good luck stay safe please.

Haven't heard any complaints other than something tipping over trash cans on rubbish pick up day, couple miles a way honey beehive boxes destroy.
We have our limits how close we get to wildlife touching of any sort is BIG NO NO .

Good Morning!!!! 67F @ 6:00AM. Abundant sunshine. High 91F. Winds S at 5 to 10 mph.

Was about to get out on the motorcycle yesterday morning when a text arrived from the neighbor that he'd decided not to work that day and would like instead to go see the airplanes. The first B17 flight had already left, and by the time we got there, the other had booked up. So no ride, but we did get to crawl all through it, and the B25, too. Apparently it's a tradition for crew members to sign the inside of the bombay doors, and many did just that, adding details of when and where they served. Most had not served on those airplanes, and by the shaky writing on some of them, were quite old when they put hand to metal. One signature referred to the Doolittle raid on Tokyo, yet another amazing accomplishment of the Greatest Generation. I'll post some photos later, and maybe a video of the planes landing/taking off. They made great noise, too!

Noticed a spot on the floor under the red bike, apparently coming from the right fork tube. Tightened the drain plug, cleaned up the mess, and I'll see this morning if that was enough to stop it. Also noticed a crunching sound coming from the handlebars, and that turned out to be a loose clamp on the cross bar. Never thought a pair of handlebars would flex that much, but those Renthals do, which is why the aftermarket stiffener was put on there by the previous owner...

Hope everyone enjoys the rest of their weekend!

89° outside, humid. Feels like 98 according to weatherbug

Came outside for a bit. Delivery guy went in and left car running. Could escape now....

Wife up near bristal TN / VA right now. 400 more miles to go.

Take care.

Booboo looks big. Time to put up an early warning system of some kind, maybe a driveway motion sensor to set off an alarm.
