When I worked in a fair size fab shop the man who ran accounting could give you a million dollars and before you left one would be so mad they would throw back at him. The ceo of the company had a secretary who had been there for 45 years. Mr accountant went into cfos office and said she was too old and was going to fire her. CFO said she was there before you came and would be there after you left. Had a boss who never really left always calling giving orders while on vacation or out of town. Several years later as luck would have it I became his boss

I had my work boots in the kitchen sink just this afternoon, they had some PB Blaster smell on them, just as I sprayed some foaming cleaner on them Ellen came home, she said What in the world are you doing?!
I said, I’m guessing I’m taking my boots to the outdoor sink.

Sounds like your bachelorhood lets you take more liberties than even I would chance, Bill:thumbsup:. I do try to watch what I eat, but if I didn't, I'd be having BBQ something or other, probably pork ribs, every night. And I draw the line at carb cleaning on the kitchen table; the ultrasound machine makes so much noise I can't hear the TV.:laughing: But just this morning I was thinking about how much bigger the granite countertop is, and how much easier it would be to lay out upholstery fabric for cutting, especially with the kitchen table right there to hold all the scissors and markers and rulers and such...:laughing::shocked:

LFN, that's too funny! ... When my son was still at home, I remember coming home from shopping with the wifey and there was my son rebuilding his carb on the kitchen table, and the intake manifold was in the kitchen sink. HOLY **** ! It did hit the fan.... He was forever banished from the kitchen. When he wanted to "bake" his transfer case shaft in the oven so he could press on a bearing, he had to plead and beg. When it was "cooking", he was closely supervised :shocked:

I have always been banished from the kitchen...can't even wash my hands if they are greasy...straight shot to the laundry sink!
