The low this morning is 5°. Yesterday was partly cloudy and in the mid teens and wind picked up to 20 mph. Today is going to mostly cloudy with a chance of snow showers. With the high in the low 20's and the winds 15-20 mph.

Looking ... I didn't say I catch any, I just like running around with the fishing pole ( rod, sorry Eric ). The mosquitos I swat are about as close as I get to catching any.

Not much planned for to day. I did get the parts to work on the defroster on the ranger, might work on that.

Looks like 10 degrees this morning and overcast. Supposed to snow today. Was planning to go sledding today but going to wait until friday.
It's not much fun riding in a snow storm and flat light. Friday is supposed to be clear and sunny. Maybe I can get some pictures.:thumbsup:

Good morning to all! Low went to a chilly 12, going up to 36. Got a total of about 10 inches of snow. Another storm coming in tomorrow night, snow predicted for Friday into Saturday. Wind just got breezy yesterday afternoon, so no big drifts.

Roy, glad Suzette did well last night, hope and prayers sent for a speedy recovery!

Rich, I used to enjoy watching the "ice racing" on Wide World of Sports back in the day.... Do they still put the spikes through the tires? They would tear someone up in a crash!

LNF, thanks for the nasal rinse and bladder control test with that one! :rotfl::rotfl:

Good Morning Everyone!!!!

8ºF was today’s low; 18ºF now; and high 20ºF’s is the expected high temperature. Sun with cirrus clouds at sunrise, cirrostratus increasing and the cloud deck is lowering as today’s/tonight’s weather system of wintry mix moves in. 1”- 3” pf snow anticipated before the sleet and freezing rain. A similar system Saturday night into Sunday, and something interesting possibly mid week.

Roy- I am happy to read that Suzette is doing ok. I hope she has a quick recovery and return home soon.

Bill- I hope that all goes well for your cat, and thanks for the laugh.

Rich- Good luck with the preparation for your training session.

CWB, that is why I quit outside unprotected ice fishing. I just couldn't see the point in freezing my but off to feed the fish.

We got maybe an inch before the snow stopped, no rain yet, just overcast and NE winds, 35° and heavy rain headed our way.

rain just quit for a little while. Heading out, trying not to leave tracks in wet lawn with golf cart.
I know where the high spots are...
Brain MRI scheduled for tomorrow.
Always involves much back and forth regarding titanium rod in my neck, finally all smiles and onward.
Can't imagine what this will feel like when every small noise now is amplified a hundred times.
I'd like a set of 32db hearing protectors(heck make it 100db!), but they'd get sucked in to the machine.
Best I can ask for is jam in your ear types. I'm already getting a headache thinking about it...
Hopefully this test will rule out worst case scenarios.
This MRI is going to sound like a bunch of crazy people banging on a tin roof with hand sledges.
Just another day in the golden years.

At least before that happens tomorrow I get to go sit in my tractor and get the rear camera system adjusted by the dealer.
They moved both the monitor and the camera, but it's a matter of how far I sink into the air-ride seat for where line of sight is.
And then I'll take a little tractor karma with me.

32°F and light drizzle this morning, going up to 44° today. We got less than 1/2" of "wintery mix" over night at home. When I got to work in north St. Louis city, there was about 1-1/2" on the ground here. Looked like more sleet than snow. The country roads out by us were slushy and a little slick, but main roads and highways were just wet. Not exactly the major disaster it was marketed as.

Hope you guys out east are similarly disappointed.
