Correct. The plan was never to live here all by myself, it's too big and too expensive to maintain.
Without physical/financial help, this was always the plan...having retired as a financial planner, generally have a Plan B.
I had hoped for ten years, may only get six or seven. No complaints here.

I try to keep everything in perspective. 20 years ago they said it was likely I'd be in a wheel chair in ten years.
I'm pretty far ahead of the game and again, no complaints. And four tractors too... :thumbsup:
Life is good.

Rain just started, caught my neighbor out mowing his lawn, bet he's soaked.
I rototilled half the garden earlier, so at least I got something accomplished today.

Went to see Mom and walked past her, didn’t recognize her, totally unresponsive and drooling, sunken features, etc...
Not sure what’s going on with her, she’s at the hospital now getting tested. She seemed fine Sunday. There is also the cruise ship curse going around there today, hope I avoided that!

And while my experience has been love over money I have to admit my wife’s frugality has been a real plus for me. We were just discussing our budget for rest of year based on actual ytd expenditures.

Turns out Mom had another UTI, similar to last year this time. They hydrated her and started her on antibiotics, sent her back to the nursing home tonight. Thanks for the prayers folks.
