Good evening all. 75F for the start, calm wind some clouds. Wind was 0-12 mph, clouds formed up to west, didn't make here before falling apart. High temp made it to 101F. played golf this morning, my team was last place :ashamed: After nap too hot to work on wood pile.

...They are baling small squares today and we offered help. Said 250-300 is expected. So I値l take my helper who has never hauled hay before. he asked me what to expect. I just grinned and said fun.

Hope your helper shares your idea of fun. To my mind there is only one way that little bales are better than big bales - the cut off baler twine fits neater into a back pocket.

The sun is out again this morning, though we are promised cloud by this afternoon so it may not reach yesterdays high of 30C/88F.

We went out for a meal last night to a rather warm restaurant. I don't often eat burgers but after writing last week about my memorable San Diego burger when I was a kid, when my finger ran down the menu and found a minced wild boar burger, topped with sliced apple and melted Shropshire blue cheese (a strong creamy cheese that I usually avoid), I thought I would give it a try. Whoever had been slaving away in what must have been a very hot kitchen had created truly memorable food. :licking:

It was so full of flavour that I almost felt guilty savouring it while my wife was working her way through a more mundane vegetarian pasta dish, her puppy dog pleading eyes flicking between the smile on my face and the rapidly diminishing burger. Of course I did share some - eventually.

Good morning all, 65 going to 87 with a 40% chance of showers/T storms. Taking it east today, still dealing with the effects of the prostate infection. Dr said very low blood flow there and slow healing. Feel better at times and other times not so good.

Don, actually Face book stock might be a very good buy right now. I would bet it will be back up very soon.
