55F with fog (supposedly) @ 11:30, although looking out I am not seeing it - it's bright and sunny ...
There was a Special Weather Statement issued last night for the the area: Dense Fog Advisory. It had already started to form by the time we knocked off over the barn @ 21:00.
Things got off to an inauspicious start yesterday when I hooked up the 100' poly hose for the air nailer to the compressor and found it had multiple splits/leaks in it. Dispatched The Woman to The Depot for a replacement.
Got the replacement door jamb/frame and trim moved over to the barn.
Got a couple more bays dug out for foam board.
Got a bunch more 4 x 8 sheets of foam board ripped into 3rds, still only about 1/2 done though. Looks like we'll need a few more sheets of the 1 1/2" thickness.
Got some joist hangers put up along the back wall.
Woman got the last of the BLO put on the 2 x 8 x 14 form boards that will go across the openings for the overhead doors.
Agenda for the rest of today:
Unload gas from car and refuel Cub.
Rebait live traps.
Put forks on Kubota and move some pallets out of the barn. Might see if there's enough room so we can sneak another one up into the shop. At a minimum get the garage door opener for the shop moved up there.
Unload the 90 2 x 4 x 8's from the van and get those moved into the barn.
Blow the leaves off the other two pallets of 2 x 4's and get those moved inside.
Pick up the four sheets of plywood/OSB off the ground that we were using to prevent the scissors lift from digging in so that they can dry out.
Get some of the foam board installed along the back wall so the work tables can be moved from the middle of the room up against the wall.
Relocate the work tables up against the wall.
Have The Woman do some leaf blowing outside around the barn to allow the ground to continue to dry up.
Plus whatever else comes up.
Hope everyone has a great Hump Day ...
