Pretty day, sunny and 60°, supposed to be a little cooler Thursday and Friday, then near 80 on Monday. I’ll take it.
Had a doctor’s appointment for a follow up, very quick visit, the kind I like. Been doing a bunch of small maintenance type jobs that have been put off long enough. Other than that it’s a rather quiet day.

23 right now...high in the low to mid 30's...
Got an inch or two of snow late yesterday....I'll do a little clean up in a while

Couple webinars today...good time for a nap

Ooooo, what a day. Cardiologist wants to do a nuclear stress test in 3 weeks. Doesn't like the swelling of the leg..... In addition to the problem sleeping....in addition to the few PVC beats on the ECG.... Explained that it is more of a "rule out possible problem vs. You HAVE a problem". He also wants a full blood workup. He doesn't suspect anything is wrong, but wants to make sure.

Other than that, the weather was an absolute tease today... sunny, calm, high of 71°. BUT....only a tease... windy tomorrow afternoon, Friday gusts to 50mph, the weekend highs in the low 40's, chance of snow at night. Anybody else on the weather roller coaster? Temp swing today was 52°.

I hope tomorrow's visit with the ortho surgeon doesn't have any surprises.....

Ted, diagnostics sounds like a great idea.
I had to laugh at my last EKG, got home and found one of the little sticky things still on me.
That's happened a couple of times.
they just took my heart monitor out, never ever found any afib and all my diagnostics are good.
Hope you don't need it.

what a long, long day. Hours of zooms.
10 people came to church zoom out of 28 invited. What a flop.
Same old diehards like me show up, probably the way it is most places.
But this was on zoom only. All they had to do was dial in.

However..........in my post zoom gloom, what arrives but an email
from a past head of our church, and a good friend/Friend, saying she would consider being co-head with me.
Happy days.

I was on a zoom with a lady from Berlin Germany today and it was 8pm her time and all the lights went out.
Widescale protest of invasion by everyone turning off their lights. Must have been something to see,
though I could not even see her face, pitch black.

Good evening all. 37ºF for the start, mostly clear sky and light breeze. Light wind day, mostly clear sky again, and high temp was 76ºF. DP 23ºF. Humidity will increase over the next few days, need to get cars washed. Men's meeting to start morning, checked battery voltage in golf cart before and after trip to meeting, and saw a .3 volt increase at battery posts. Don't know why battery was discharged the other week. Puttered early then went for bike ride, then lunch then nap. Also charged boat batteries today, will get them back in boat soon, good fishing weather here soon.

No Mostly, I was in the Ranger, not the Mustang LOL. I would have been going faster in that.
i was lucky to get home from Gatton today as they evacuated Grantham again while I was shopping. Had to do some fast talking to SES and then past 2 lots of police to get through. Grantham was totally deserted. They said flood waters were on the way. (again) I had to drive through some (3 lots) to get home. No problem in the Ranger.
Bought a new diesel Jerry can and filled it and my old one just in case. Power went off briefly again sometime last night but it didn't affect us. Wondering how some of my working neighbours are going to get home tonight.
I managed to mow and whipper snip yesterday. Probably got an acre and a half done with the ZT. It was a hot sunny day out of the blue. Thunderstorms and more rain today. Missed the 5 - 6 cm hailstones that some areas got.
Transport company has tried to deliver my flail mower parts twice now from Brisbane but met roadblocks/floods each time.

26° right now...per the forecast, it's not going to get any warmer either. Snow's coming down...looks like 3-4 inches (forecast was 1-3")

Up early to head in to work this morning, but with the snow, I think I'll work from home. I'll need to clear the drive, and more importantly, the walks as I think stepdaughter and wifey were going out this morning.
Speaking of clearing the walks, I did them yesterday too (had 2-3 inches from the night before). I also wanted to clear a path to the bird feeder out front. The EGO did great in the powdery snow but couldn't chew in to the 4-5 inches of frozen snow a few feet off the walk. That was a bit disappointing when I was clearing the snow...but while typing this post, I realized I had the auger on the lowest speed setting. Obviously, frozen snow can be a challenge with any snow blower, but I think I'll up the auger speed setting and see what it'll do...and, hopefully, not break a shear pin.

But right now, I'm gonna have a cup of coffee and maybe lie back down for a couple hours

We had a nice visit with my mom and sister in Virginia Beach, including some great seafood on the dock on Lynnhaven Bay. Watched lots of boats and birds and Oceana F/A-18 Super Hornets doing touch and go and sharp turns. I took my gorilla stool so I could change smoke detector batteries and light bulbs at her house and fixed her tv problem.
