hard to believe they cancelled my epidural, again. That's three times in three years, geez.
Due to a shortage of docs at hospital, I was told...ok

planted flowers for hours, got the whole bed done, will be a mass of five different flowers when it all comes up.

The neighbor was very excited to get his new tractor off the trailer. I helped unsecured it and unload the PHD parts, then he had the honors of backing it off the trailer. It was quite obvious there was something wrong with the loader.... the bucket on the left side was drooping about an inch. Seems like one loader arm is lower than the other.

No obvious damage or scratches anywhere, mounts were tight. Some pics were taken and a call made to the dealer.... needless to say, his excitement turned into despair. The dealer mentioned that there were a few of his model loader that had misaligned welds on the cross tube.... that would explain the problem for sure. He is just waiting to hear back from the dealer...

Hopefully he won’t have too much difficulty getting it fixed / issue resolved. It was technically a used machine, but only 38 hours in a year and a half. It looks brand new. Still has 7 months of warranty left on the loader, so should be covered.

Someone else had the problem with I think an RK loader lower on one side. Ended up being the tractor wasn’t level with loader when subframe was installed. Solution was to loosen subframe with everything level then retighten all bolts. They had dealer do it.

RNG- I was very careful with the self check while down, and I did have a moment visualizing how I would get back being dragged by Brogen. He helped me in last year when I fell and fractured my patella. I am feeling more aches&pains in some other areas this AM, but some numbing libations will be on order for Happy Hour.

Mike- Nice pics. Thanks for sharing.

How about a quart or two of wild turkey?

bummer, useful Coronavirus thread closed when I went to it. Apparently it has been closed twice before, due to folks mouthing off
thinking they are in friendly politics when it was Front Porch.
here's an example:
please don't whine about it. Just go off somewhere and die. I won't miss your stupidity at all.

what is acceptable in friendly politics is clearly not acceptable "here".
I'm all for the moderators doing their job when folks are nasty, and appreciate their volunteering.
Now I need to find another coronavirus thread...

Randy- Thanks for sharing Grandson sharing Grandpa's tractor pictures.

David- I have yet to see any food lines around here.

Bill- Wild Turkey conjures up some rather unpleasant memories. I must have drunk a bad batch back then.

Drew and rswyan I suspect we will be see many more C-19 thread versions. Reading some of the involved posters' names is reason to stay away and involve myself on a C-19 thread at another site.

I was able to walk the lower field w/o too much gimping this PM. I am hoping that tonight's numbing libations brings additional relief.

Installed the new SelectComfort® air compressor this PM. Like the last compressor replacement the included remote was incorrect for this model bed, but the old remote worked. At this point the bed is holding air. I have not slept in this bed since I broke my patella in January 2019. We'll see about sleeping tonight.

My liver scan scheduled for next week was cancelled and the hospital reportedly confirmed the its first two C-19 cases today.

I hope everyone is having a manageable day and remains C-19 free.

This is a long shot, but it could be something as simple as air in the hydraulic system. First, check to see that the hydraulic oil level is correct, then have him cycle the loader arm and bucket hydraulic cylinders over the full range a few times and see if that helps. :crossfingers:

Nope, did all that first off. Even loosened all the loader bolts, set it down level, and retightened. Nope, still raises offset. Then did scoop 3-4 buckets of dirt....definitely obviously off level when lifting. He is taking the tractor back to the dealer next month to put remotes on.... they will either fix it then, replace the loader, or he will get a different tractor.

What model LS did he buy?

He might also check for proper and equal inflation in front tires?

Then see if the out of level changes .. as bucket is curled?

It is a 2018 model year LS MT125 SCUT. It was on consignment at RCO, 38 hours. No reported damage. You would think if the previous owner tweaked the loader or hit into something, there would be signs.... wrinkled metal or broken welds. There is nothing obvious. When you look at the loader tube cross member, comparing to other “straight” edges, it appears crooked. Even when the bucket is flat on the ground.

If you lower the loader slowly to the ground, the left side of the bucket touches first (about an inch), then it will go flat, but you can see the loader arms “moving” (tweaking) towards the left to compensate. Something is definitely out of square with the loader. The left lift cylinder, when compressed to level, is about 1/8 to 3/16 longer. It could be a faulty cylinder on that side, allowing some flex in the arms.

I truly believe RCO will make this right, either by warranty or setting him up with another tractor.
