Drew, I saw at the lab Monday that the antibody test only cost $43.
For a cruise now, proof of being vaccinated and a covid test are both required. Antibody test are not considered.
I was all set to buy the antibody test kit but docs said it was only 80 percent accurate. I guess you could take it twice...
this morning went off without a hitch, well organized by local hospital at their urgent care facility, asked two staff about only being 5 months out and was told
immediately "don't worry about it". ok.... we'll see how tomorrow morning looks.
Wide mix of folks in line, they had all three vaccines available, and one Karen got into it
with the guy next to me after he
quietly asked me if I thought the vaccine pushback was politically minded, i.e. starting with a T, and this woman, who we were in no way talking to,
went ballistic, started yelling all kinds of crazy stuff, we almost had to call security. The volunteer went over and asked her to restrain herself. Geez, some genuinely crazy folks out there.
Hair triggers just waiting to be tripped. Woman had some serious anger management issues. She didn't have to worry about distancing, everyone promptly moved twice as far away from her
as possible.
now I have a couple hours of reading/studying for a school board orientation meeting tonight, thankfully zoom.
of interest, local supervisors now going back to hybrid/zoom meetings
Ken, cool hawk pic. Something was about to become lunch.
