Really nice.
Thanks Kyle.

Like I was saying earlier, it's not really a display tank ... so it doesn't have that antiseptic, sterile look to it ... :D

But there is lots of Life in there.

The tank will have to be torn down, have pretty much everything removed from it, and drained down to where there are only a couple of inches of water in it in order to get the fish out, as they are so fast that it would be next to impossible to do so otherwise. Too many hiding places. The all the plants and structure, and the fish I keep, will get put into a newly set up 20G Long. When I do that, the gravel in the current tank will get a thorough cleaning, which is long overdue.

I was relieved to get out at first daylight and see the fence posts went in yesterday pretty close to where I wanted them. Today is more challenging, putting in new posts along the boundary with my difficult neighbour. I've tried to explain to him a few times what I intended to do, but to no avail. The last time he was out walking dogs with his wife and we were doing the same. His wife started to listen to me, but he turned round and walked off in the opposite direction, screaming obscenities at the top of his voice.
Most people would be quite happy to see a replacement stock fence going up without it costing them a penny :confused3:
Eric,

I know I would be ...

Nice fish pic RS, calming just looking at it.
Thanks Drew.

Lots more please.
Will do ... but it will probably be a few weeks.

Seventy degrees out today and going to put a coat of wax on the new mower, makes it easier to keep clean. ...
Drew,

That's a really awesome rig that you picked up.

Hindsight being 20/20, I often wish I had taken the money I spent on the MMM ($3,000) for the B2910 and used it as a downpayment on an F-series.

Nothing like having a dedicated mowing machine ...

Putting a coat of wax on it is smart move IMO.

... Nice fish picture RS. ...
Ron,

Thanks.

Good to hear you got that exhaust vent for your furnace fixed ... sounded like it could present a potential CO hazard.

You don't wanna mess around with that.

rswyan- Are those fish cichlids? I like your tank setup. Maintaining an aquarium is a lot of work; building one even more so. I for one would like ongoing pictures.

after heaving thirty bags of cow manure into the field and putting away ten bags of 10-10-10 and three huge bags of potting soil,
my back is most unhappy. Despite the fact it just started raining, it's still 64 out and nice. Was 67 earlier.

good thing I had autoleveling on the truck, think I got to the limit today. It groaned a little...sure rode nice though going home.

then I waxed the mower and soaked the plastic parts in 303. Looking quite spiffy, it got put away to wait until March. Put 14 gallons of diesel in it, slurp, plus some diesel conditioner. Manual is adamant about not running the mower until it has warmed up, not for the engine but for the hydraulics. Time and time again warnings in the manual. Ok. Apparently starting it up in low temps, not advancing the throttle beyond idle and stomping on the pedal is not good for the pump.

How do you like the 303 ?

Ron,

Thanks.

You don't wanna mess around with that.

Problem was not a CO hazard. Under certain weather conditions the high humidity exhaust could be sucked into intake. Causing intake to freeze closed. No intake air makes furnace shut down. I added 18” to the exhaust pipe.

Spent some time outside. Pond has open water again. But do not see any fish.
Used my Harbor Freight portable band saw to cut up shipping frame from chipper. Made quick work cutting the angle iron in pieces.
Watched the crew work on drive across street.
