toppop; coffee doesn't qualify as 'more water'. I don't know why, but it doesn't. 4 winters ago I was drinking 3-4 1 Litre pots of coffee a day and still was dehydrated.

Good morning, low 18ーF and high 28. Wind E 7 mph. Snow.
Another inch or two. The wind although slow/light right now will be swinging to the south and increasing to 18 mph and later out of the west and gusting to 30 mph. The wind chill factor overnight may hit -30.

I was going to go to North Bay this morning, but with those temps and the wind (a cross wind), it is not a 'life or death' situation so I am staying put. Tomorrow is supposed to be sunny.

Alien, how would you fare in -30ーF temps?

mostly, 3" diameter and the tip is just above the cab by about 1".

Have a safe day all

Mate... I wouldn't get out of bed and I would pinch the electric blanket off my wife and wrap it around me. If I HAD to get out of bed I would plug a long extension cord into the blanket and get around the house that way. I can't even begin to imagine cold like that.

I was up at 3.30 am this morning in T shirt and shorts. Still rain about and humidity was 99% My guage doesn't show higher than 99. :)

Good Morning TBN!

Big week for me. My 3rd Divorce should happen this week...

Won't be doing that again...

Moving on...

I made a minimal update on the Remodel of MossFlower thread.
Be well all!
David

Sorry it hasn't been pleasant for you mate.
Only happened to me once and I said... No More... But then I met my beautiful wife and 20 years later it couldn't be better.

Good morning ! Forecast for today is sunshine and showers. Technically accurate, though with only 3 minutes of sunshine so far, not quite what I was hoping for.

I bet you played with your food when you were a kid

That has prompted an interesting conversation with my wife.
We both grow up knowing what day of the week it was by the food that was served up at teatime, the most memorable being Thursday, which for both of us was Meat & Potato Pie day (she hated it, I loved it). Sometimes I would be allowed to take mine into the living room to watch tv and I must confess I then occasionally arranged the pastry into a scenic mountain range, with a gravy river flowing in the valleys. :ashamed: :)

Is that the same as Shepherds Pie? Cold meat minced up, Tomato sauce and onions added to mix, Mashed potato spread on top in Pyrex dish and then cooked in the oven. YUM.

Good afternoon. It was 39° this morning and with our winds the "feels like" was 33°. It's now up to 47° and the wind has fallen off to about 3 mph.

Our exterminator was coming by this morning, for our regular 90 day treatment, so .. decided to take the Corvette into town for its annual State Inspection then .. to our County Court House to renew it license sticker as well as one for one of our livestock trailers.

I'm thinking some shop time .. is in order this afternoon. Didn't get the Polaris into the shop yesterday .. maybe today. Need to take it to dealer for 50 hour service check but .. may just wait till later this week.

Hope everyone has a great start to your week.

Prayers to all.

Alien,
I've been wanting to post, but didn't want to break your streak.

Randy, I swear by placing a bottle of RTW (room temp water) where I make coffee and where I sit to ensure I drink a lot first thing after getting up. Best wishes for improvement.

Rswyan, you are likely much more precise than I, BUT, given my past experience I’d never set the tile saw further away than necessary, downstairs, not likely if I can protect the area. While most cuts would be one and done, I have too much experience, cut, fit, cut, fit, and then after the 6th cut start over - too many trips

32F clearing sky now got good 1/2" snow that wasn't forecasted.

Mrs. small work table top finish and very how it came out and said "I over kill the small project". :confused2:
Time to put some critter feed for the night, been 5 days still no sign of Boo guess she stated her long winter nap.
No much plan for this evening...dinner recliner watch old movie might share ice cream with kittens.

Enjoy the evening all.

Forced air furnace. American Standard Freedom 90 VS 2 stage.

Well in that case it's likely either the flame sensor or the control board, hope your repairman has the parts with him when he arrives.
I've used this place for parts before he is somewhat reasonable,
good luck

So far, one of those days being consumed by those little 10 minutes tasks that take hour and a half. Oh well.

I drink most water at room temp, sometimes I get a cold bottle and squirt some flavor enhancer in it. I always drink 8 oz or so of water before I drink coffee, even decaf.
The older we get the easier we dehydrate.

My late wife always said when I told her a few minutes it meant at least an hour, and Lord help if I told her an hour!

Evening all!
Ran out to three different stores Looking for wanted groceries and tools. Only found one item. Ordered the rest online.
Got the tractor and truck fuel tanks topped off for the storm.
Not much to do today so I played with string again:
Wrapped my cane, made my wife a sliding 5 count tool and tied a knot that is really hard just to say I could and did do it!
Will be installing better lights on the neighbor's tractor tomorrow. Will need to fire up the portable heater in the garage.
Goodnight all!

I'd be the same, don't have a wife to move in bed but i'd roll over and turn the waterbed up to simmer. Now at 2pm 28.3C.
