39°F and partly cloudy this morning, going up to 61° today. Expecting the rain to arrive sometime this afternoon, turning to thunderstorms overnight. Highs in the 40s for the weekend.

The cookies, fudge, and cake were a big hit at break time this morning.

Nice time with your granddaughter, Rick. My oldest stepson who lives in San Marcos got his Associates Degree in Criminal Justice yesterday from the school in Austin he was attending. He says he's going to finish the Bachelors Degree at Texas State, much closer to home.

Great picture of your place, Ron. Is the camper a new addition?

Fun thing about hose HF O Ring assortments. I bought bough the inch and metric ones, and discovered that they’re exactly the same except for the color of the box.

Now I’ll have to check mine

52F and fair @ 12:30, headed up to a high of 56F.

Several squirrels on and around the feeder this morning. Someone emptied the Moultrie feeder overnight.

Several Amazon items due in today: 6" self-adhesive butyl tape, jigsaw blade for cement board, some items for The Woman. Still no insight on aluminum tile flange - Amazon shows it has shipped but has no tracking info - says to check with UPS ... :confused2:

Plans for today:

If jigsaw blade shows up at a reasonable hour, plan to get at least some Wonder Board trimmed out for bathroom floor, as rain will be heading in tomorrow.

Hose off steel shelving and move inside after it dries.

Move Wonder Board around back where sawhorses are for trimming.

Remove old stove from kitchen and move over to barn.

Move hose, MMM and Water Buffalo over to barn for winter.

Gather up more stuff that's still sitting outside and get it put away.

Add more crusher run to upper driveway and grade it out.

HFT now offering "15% Off Everything !" (Inside Track Club Member get 20% off) ... except not quite ...

Hope everyone has an enjoyable, productive, and safe day ...

Afternoon all! 45 and sunny here. Much better than yesterday. Decided today would be a good day to play with string. Tried my hand at making a few Christmas ornaments for gifts:

Phil,
I'm only good at untying knots. Very impressed.

Thanks for referencing that endoscope, since RNG said maybe look for higher MP than the 2MP one. Glad your spring fit...I have two of those boxes of assorted o-rings from HF, and never seem to find the size I need.

I got a box of those O-rings too, pretty much useless.

Drinking first cup of coffee. 27° with mostly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 49° with cloudy skies. No Norther Light last night or this morning. Clouds. Did get one storage item emptied. Large steamer truck. Lot of small stuff to do today. Plus wait for furnace guy to come out.
Today is both a sad and Happy day. Wife would have been 80 today. GGD is 1 year old today.
Got drone out and did a short fly. My place from 100' up. It is fast compared to my old one. Over 40 mph.

Kyle, good news on the Steiner. Sassy very seldom barks. I think she is afraid of the noise it makes.

David, great action video. My Muffin would wake up from a nap when we got about 1 mile from home. After being gone for 5 months. Sassy does not care. Falls asleep with 1 miles in car.

Mostly, be careful out riding bike. Bad accident in Nevada yesterday.

Rick, time with Grandkids are the best.

I like all the pictures being posted of food.

Everyone stay safe and healthy.

Good Morning All.

Ron, that is a great looking place!

You know that birthday/birthdate might not be a coincidence.

Drone sounds like fun, I can’t fly one here due to airport regs.

My Gracie loves to ride, but I’ve been on the phone sitting in the driveway and she lays down and goes to sleep. I think she just likes vehicles.

Got some unsettling news from my nephrologist today, but I won’t go on about it, just have to try some things and pray for the best.

28-62 so far today, pretty sunshine.

I walked the dog out back today and discovered I’m missing several fairly nice implements from the rear storage area. Stuff I don’t use regularly but too a lot of work for someone to load. I hadn’t been in that area in 5-6 weeks to notice it. Maybe happened when we went to Front Royal in October. They had to come in through the backside. It’s been a while because the area is covered in leaves now. Thankfully they didn’t bother my land plane, discs, back blade or York rake that are in a different area much closer to the house.
They did get a double hopper seeder/spreader, a large roller/aerator, a bottom plow and an 18 hp Kubota diesel that I’d planned on using in my spraying rig.
It totally pisses me off to think those b@stards were in my space.

I have a next step in mind, but no real progress. I did fit a stainless steel screen into the inlet of the nozzle, and that helps until it too becomes clogged. And I got a 50 gallon plastic barrel from one of the neighbors. It still has a quart or two of hydrogen peroxide in it, which may be good for removing rust. And I've used some of that same mesh to wrap a new intake filter for the suction hose on the truck. So the plan now is to cut a couple holes in the barrel lid and put both the suction and discharge hoses in the barrel. Then fill the thing with a bottle of Ivory Snow and water and start the pump. The intake filter should stop any rust flakes that rinse out of the pump, at least until too many of them accumulate, at which point I can just dump the barrel and repeat. Might be a while before that happens though, as it's a weather dependent task.

H2O2 is dangerous stuff at higher percentages. Max legal over the road percentage is 59%

just saying...
