Can’t really add to the dog barking, but one thing has been consistent over the years. The dogs riding in the vehicles. Seems whenever we make that turn off the highway, they know we are almost home and will get up and look out the windows. Boxers make great lap dogs too.

good morning all.
28 out now going up to 55 in sunshine, nice day.

Santa's sleigh is on the move this morning, out delivering three birdhouses today.
First one goes to Popgadget since I drive right past his house this morning driving to Lederach/Harleysville for lunch.
Then this afternoon I stop at a friend's home in Doylestown and sit by her outdoor firepit for a while. Days are very short this week,
sure gets dark early.

Need to get propane tank refilled, again. Need to find a place that doesn't want to charge 30 bucks to fill a 30 pounder. Of course it's usually 20 bucks to fill
a 20 pounder, so...

It’s always been hard to start. Sure was for me, why I switched from Stihl to Echo. Echos needed two pulls while on choke, then they
popped on second pull, take off choke, started every time. I was simply doomed with the Stihls, though clearly they are great saws that many folks have
no problems with. Chain saws often sit with pretty stale gas in them, doesn't surprise me they have starting problems. It's why I really like electric saws as long as I'm
not working on big trees.

I see four inches of snow in the forecast. Right now that's a big maybe for next week.

sure will be nice walking out to garage and pushing a button to get the door to open. :thumbsup:

Good morning, the temperature is 33°F and going up to 34. Wind SE 5 mph. 60% chance of either showers or snow.
Snow starting tonight and ending on Sunday. Can't wait.

A dump run is in the cards for today, then I'm not sure what I will get up to. You are almost guaranteed it will be no good.

Good morning all. We are back into grass growing temperatures, 9C/ 48F and slightly higher by the weekend.

I was asked what I wanted for Christmas, my request was a pair of fingerless gloves for winter fishing. If only the Farmers Guardian had arrived a couple of days earlier I would have said a Kovaco Elise 900 battery powered electric skid steer loader that you can also drive from your smartphone.

TSC call said shipment of black sunflower and wild bird feed was in bought 5 bags of each.

Got a text from my wife to stop by TSC on way home from mountains yesterday for black oil sunflower seeds...they had plenty, but ouch, the price had gone up from $17 to $25 for 40 lb.

Washer doing a test wash. Sadly, my Ryobi endoscope wouldn稚 power up even with new batteries. Guess I知 going to have to find those recommendations made back a few days ago. Fortunately I had a box of assorted springs from HF and 1 appears to be perfect replacement.

Also made modification so hopefully washer won稚 walk off support again.

Thanks for referencing that endoscope, since RNG said maybe look for higher MP than the 2MP one. Glad your spring fit...I have two of those boxes of assorted o-rings from HF, and never seem to find the size I need.

I have noticed with Stihl saws that they can be temperamental if they sit for any length of time.

I guess it must be the model...mine have always been easy and quick starters...but I was worried a couple of days ago when I realized I had left old gas mix in it since refueling in March...but a couple of pulls and it ran smoothly. Normally, when I know I'm not gonna use it for a while, I try to run it dry before putting away.

Good morning. It’s 25 and clear, supposed to warm up quickly into the fifties by noon.

Spent a good part of yesterday doing administrative and paperwork tasks both for my business and my mom’s estate.

Went to the restaurant for lunch, got an assignment for some Sunday evening electrical and data cable work. Got the smoker all cleaned up and covered. It’s actually the racks and probes that get cleaned and the ash tray dumped. The smoker itself needs little maintenance.

Went to Home Depot to pick up crank pole for Velux sky light, while I was there I realized that I needed a laser measuring device. It was a real test of will, but rather than buy one, I put it on my Christmas list for the kids. (The only thing on the list). They always say that I am impossible, as if there is anything that I need or would enjoy, I already have it. I tell them having them around is my real present.

Looking forward to Drew’s visit today, I’ve got his container of pork already for him.
