I appeared to be locked out of my company computer this morning.. tried pin for virtual badge several times, tried password several times, decided to call help desk instead of hammering on it until it locked my account. The automated system indicated technical issues with my account, then transferred me to agent. He checked my account, said it looked good, not locked, what is exact error message... I said let my try logging in again and get that for you, but my pin worked and I was able to get in... not sure if my fingers were entering wrong information or if my keyboard had a problem or if my account had a problem. No worries, all working again now.. I have had some issues with password in the last several months..

I've lost count of the number of times I've called for tech support, especially with the satellite internet companies, and had to wade through 1st and 2nd line techs trying to troubleshoot my home systems, only to have the problem "magically" disappear when I finally got in touch with somebody there that actually knew what they were doing and found a problem on their end. Maybe I should send them a bill for MY time, at oh, say, $125/hour?:confused2:

Anybody heard from Don lately?

He's been AWOL since his last post on the 21st.

Thought sure Bill's comment about his meal being vegetarian, except for the turkey:laughing:, would get a rise out of Don, but not a peep.

Hope everything's OK...:confused3:

I wasn't really sure I could do it, but I survived 5 hours of yard work this morning. First I raked the front yard under that blasted live oak tree and bagged a bag and a half of acorns and leaves. Then I mowed front and back with the bagger and with the height set at next to the lowest setting possible, so that was another 6 and a half bags of clippings (4 mower bags to each contractor bag). Normal mowing with the EGO mower doesn't take long and the battery is more than enough to do the whole job, but mowing it short like I did this morning puts quite a load on the mower and I had to recharge that battery twice to get the job done. Anyway, I reckon we're about ready for summer, or as ready as we can be.

I remember the container in picture from years ago. Is that the one your tractor was delivered in?

Good memory, Ron. my Kioti CK30 rode that container from Atlanta to here.

Happy belated Birthday, Coco.

Good morning, the temp is 20°F and going to a high of 30. Wind NNE 11 mph. Mostly sunny with some clouds.
Snow in the forecast for the next 3 days after today.

I am off to the accountants today to deliver my tax paperwork. IF I leave here at 8, it will take 1.25 hours to get there, 5 minutes to drop it off and 1.25 hours back unless I find something interesting to do on the return trip.

After the accountant trip, I think I will set on my can and do absolutely nothing productive (conserve energy).

Have a safe day all

That’s my daily commute, except stay 8+ hours before the return trip.

45 and raining. Going to 59.

Wildflowers sound nice, Buppies.

BEF, hope FIL getting better.

Took Coco for a long birthday hike and swim yesterday. She turned 6. Then decided to take it mostly easy and play frisbee and dokken.

Wife just got there. So I’m by myself for a few days.
I drove the BAT mobile to work so she could take my Subaru.
A good friends Father just passed away.
Rain today, but in 40s to 50s.

My wife’s parents have been cleaning up, getting rid of stuff to prepare for moving to town. Now with her dad’s stroke, her mom wants to get house on the market.
Neighbors already told them they want to buy it, then sell theirs.

Everything he needs is on one level with this house. My recommendation is let him get better first, before throwing a move into the mix.

Ahhhh, plumbing. Just love taking time to plan it out, make a list of what’s needed only to get in the store and find at least 1 or 2 of the critical fittings out of stock and having to reconfigure on the fly. Wife gets annoyed that I never take back any extra fittings. Just never know when they’ll come in handy. Yesterday got a call from a neighbor in dire need of a 2inch screw in cap. I didn’t have one. But I did have. 2in male adapter, a 2 inch glue on cap, a 3 inch length of 2 inch pvc, and appropriate cement. Not elegant, but functional.

I have plastic totes. Marked, electrical, plumbing, hydraulic and plastic fittings. Largest one is plastic fittings. It’s full.

I asked the receptionist at the accountants what she thought would be the price from the courier to deliver the package 75 miles away and she about crapped her knickers when I told her 51.oo+. The whole trip was uneventful. Borrrrringggg!

I try to keep mine somewhat organized by size as well. Periodically (currently overdue) I sort thru them.

Got about as much done I can without taking everything onsite and actually putting in place. Think I have a logical plan and Canada Dave agrees so tomorrow.

Still 53°, foggy now instead of rain. Car club meeting tonight, prepping for our busiest show season in years.
Have a good night guys.

Good evening all. 41F for the start, partly cloudy, light breeze. Wind picked way up, sky became more cloudy in afternoon, and high temp was 56F. This morning was another slow start, general puttering until bike ride time, nap and pick up a few round for firewood that were offered to me. Walked Scooter to conclude workday :)
I remember coolant tanks well. We would machine some cast iron which added to aroma and left sludge on bottom of tank, fun to remove.
Drew hope you do not need to resort to current plan B. Good luck with you consultations and epidural.
Rick latest here is snow possible overnight, may not last until dawn.
Buppies hope hole heals quickly.
Thomas gotta take care of deer and the Mrs :D
RNG sounds like propane line is good, hope the conduit holds.
PJ might have to do with fewer distractions for both dog and owner during in-home training?
Ted sounds like midwest weather, changes by the minute :D
Hawkeye, sorry about your computer account misbehaving, glad you will get some wifey face time and FIL doing better.
Drew probably depends on how much of sour cream or butter you use.
Randy good to hear cold is better, hope gone before weather changes.
Bird, still need to do the scalp but with snow forecast for tonight it is hard to get motivated for summer.
Buckeye, sorry to hear you are doing without wife, and condolences on loss of friend's father. FIL will do better with minimal changes until he is more recovered.
randy hope you still have hair and health at end of season.
prayers for all.
