Low 60s already and headed for mid 60s and cloudy. Rain and a cold front overnight with mid 40s tomorrow. Still calling for an inch of snow Tuesday night.

I used a carpenter's square on the worst end yesterday, and it appears as if both sides of the door frame are leaning toward the center. Not sure there's any way for me to correct that, except perhaps to use a porta power to stretch the top of the door frame? Or put a jack under the outer edge of the door and see if I can bend it up? More measurements are in my future...

Check level at center of door.

21F this morning, heavy frost on grass, most of the leaves down, might try and mow one last time to chop leaves up..

Happy Birthday Mrs Mostly,

It will be interesting to see how long the transition is from old job to new.. my old job has a new manager that really has no idea what I was doing so she doesn't know if she will replace me or just absorb my work into the rest of the team..

Stay safe, prayers for those in need

69°F and .17 inches rain.

Fun challenge ahead. Move enough batteries out of the way that I can maneuver my bracket wall in place. Challenge is I can’t disconnect the batteries just yet as the replacements come tomorrow. Not enough room to use the tractor, that’s tomorrow when they get moved out of building completely.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day

Nothing like a clueless boss. Good luck with the move, hope it goes well

Jasper! Named after the Jasper Park Lodge in Jasper, Alberta, a lovely town in the Rocky mountains West of Edmonton. Not as nice as the famous Banff, Alberta where I used to go often as a kid living in Calgary, but still very nice.

It's been many years since we briefly visited those places, but we certainly enjoyed it.

Rain started around midnight, temperature was 65 degrees and has gradually fallen to the current 44 and expected to go on down to 38. I think the rain is now over and I just dumped about 1.68" out of the gauge.

34F rain turn to snow starting to cover different areas... 1-3 inch by morning. :(

Just barely finish couple outside jobs before rain drops starting fall 2pm...whew.
Not much plan for the evening...shower shave hot meal some rough housing with kittens watch Texas Lone Star... :confused3:

Enjoy the evening all.

Bought another NVR for security cams. Amcrest this time. Half physical size as old one. Same menus as my dahua nvr, and the prior qsee nvr. Now I can add more cameras.

The crab cake lunch was good.

Started light rain when we got home.

My job transition is going to be slower than I hoped, but I am going to make it work. I get moved to new team Dec 1 and then as I ramp in my new job, transition out of my old job, but I get to cover the business while the company is shutdown over the holidays. I pushed back asking to have the transition done before holidays but will do what is needed. I was so looking forward to not being on email during company shutdown (sales continues and when they need approvals for configs that do not meet specs, it falls to me to review and approve if appropriate, one of the jobs I no longer enjoy).

Got some rain showers moving in ahead of a sharp cold front. 56 now, but tomorrow’s high is predicted to be low to mid 40s with 20-30 mph winds.

Oops, sorry. Each number is a measurement from the bottom of the door frame to the bottom of the laser stripe, so it indicates how far below that point on the door frame is below the level line.

It is kind of creepy in there, especially when you stop to think that there's no way to open the doors from the inside. No wonder so many illegal immigrants have died inside containers.

I would be drilling a hole somehow somewhere to be able to get out.

Have a safe ride.

Good evening all. 46F when I woke up, front already through. 3 1/2 inch in bucket. Drizzle and light rain for 1/2 the day, windy all day, high temp 63F just after midnight, 38F for the low about 3 PM. Worked on fire, and new storm door, got hinges drilled, and door handle installed, waiting for wind to die down and take old door back down. Should finish tomorrow. Younger brother coming tomorrow for visit, he had triple bypass couple years back and is walking 1/2 or hole marathon in Fort worth on Sunday. Will likely miss Big boy at ********* , (closest approach).
Mrs Mostly says thank you for the birthday wishes!

24 right now...high, only about 30..clear, at least.

Back home...trip was semi-successful. Got some good training but didn't get certified. Better luck next time (probably in January), I guess.

Plans today was to go to work...that changed as a result of my stepdaughter's being hit by a car (see my previous posts). First order of business is to take my wife to a doctor's appointment this morning, then take my stepdaughter (one who lives with us) to the Manchester NH airport for a flight to LA. The injured stepdaughter (Anne) can't do much with those broken ribs, so Katie (one who lives with us) is going to care for Anne and her daughter for a week

Yesterday proved to be a washout after all, although not as bad as for those further north where the rainfall was heaviest. L4N, your DIL's hometown is on the news this morning, the river Don looks set to cause major flooding there.

Hang in there Hawkeye, January is not that far away. May I ask what the salesmen sell over the Christmas holiday period ?

I would be drilling a hole somehow somewhere to be able to get out.

Me too. We must both have same phobia about unnecessary ways to die

My hands may be a little too full to get on here for a while. I need to go pick up grandchildren and then rediscover long lost nappy (diaper) changing skills while my wife is away on a craft course. Should be fun.
