Rest in Peace
Narrow temperature range here just as others have; 42 degrees for a low going for 48 for a high. And I just dumped about .48" of rain out of the gauge from yesterday, mostly after dark last night.
LS, the pull down attic stairs was a one man job. Just follow instructions except where it says to have another person in the attic, if you don’t have z second person.View attachment 586719
Just trim and paint to finish.
Buppies
Roy that’s a heat wave compared to what you have coming.

Any signs of January thaw???

Good morning, everyone!
13F here this morning, forecast a high of 17 and windy, then low of 5 overnight. The ice fishermen will probably be out on the lake this weekend.
I have the day off, planning to visit Mom and add some insulation in a couple of places at her house. I may take a walk on the woodlot to inventory standing dead and downed trees. I plan to use the Kioti to help harvest firewood to add to the woodpile.
Edit to add: Regarding the fall on my stairs, I’m feeling better today after a good nights sleep. I was sore at work yesterday and had a bit of a headache come on last evening, but a couple of pills from what an off-road riding friend calls “youth in a bottle” (ibuprofen) has helped.
Have a great day, all!

No ice fishing here and no urgency to light the woodburner either, though not quite as warm as where you are off to Rich. Either thermometer is stuck, or temperature very even as both night and day are showing 8C/46F.
Anyone taking bets on how long before Don hot wires the tractor ?
Good morning! 53 ˚F old getting to 58 ˚F north wind no rain.
Been up for a while reading the operators manual for the JD 3032E - the elusive tractor. But today I must cut a tree at Mom's and get her some groceries so no seat time and still no contact from the ex-pres, the tractor's daddy. I might have to take Ron's suggestion but I suspect he is out of town. Elderland has several sponsored vacations all over the world at any one time. Through detective work I . . . well let's just say I don't need the key holder to drive the tractor, I'm just doing it as a courtesy. Eric I would not place any bets over a week before the tractor get's a new daddy.
Ah ha, a new term For TBN:
Tractor Daddy - The person responsible for a tractor owned by multiple people, an association, or a company.
Back from the fishing show. Things have not changed a lot. Except prices. I had 15 Okuma reels for Great Lakes fishing. I figured that what I bought in the late 90's would be around $100 today. Wrong they are $200+. The one kicker was a 29' fishing boat with twin 300 hp outboards. The outboards were 2/3rds of the price.

What's wrong with a good pair of true V8 inboards.
Good time with son and grandson.
