43 degrees and still drizzling, a seriously unpleasant day, but highly successful on the travel trailer front, got just what I wanted, about a third off list (talk about markups...) in a Jayco 28RBKS. Very plain white on the outside, no glitz which is fine, but a nice interior with a huge bathroom and an island kitchen, and under 30 grand. Two big opposing slideouts make the inside pretty large for a not very big trailer. All in all a very productive morning. Unfortunately I have to drive back up here in a week or so to come get it but that's ok. Better to give them time to prep it right.

yeah Buppies, Mr NonMaterialistic has just bought another big toy. And I can't even call it a "tool"....:ashamed:

You got me wondering how to determine if a man-toy also qualifies as a tool. How about this test -

Imagine the toy was lost, they make new ones, but you find they only come in bright pink and can not be re-sprayed. If you still go ahead and buy, because you need it, the thing you lost was a genuine tool.

Good morning. The wind has turned to come in from the east and has cooled the enthusiasm of the lambs to play. It has stayed dry though, so they are all doing fine. Lambs 70, 90 & 96 are still a little tender and being kept close to the house, all the rest are out in the bigger fields.

Something happened to the dog yesterday, although I'm not sure what. He was doing his usual zig zag across the field, following his nose as we walked over to check out the lambs in the far field, when suddenly he gave out a yelp. He took a few steps towards me, then sat down and held up his left front paw. I couldn't feel anything stuck in his pads and at the time we were in open pasture, well away from the prickly hedge plants. Something had definitely got him though, as he wouldn't move. One good thing about terriers in general and this one in particular is that they don't weigh much, which was just as well as I ended up carrying him back home.

My wife thinks he may have been stung, however I can't find any swelling. There is not much around to sting at the moment, except perhaps the odd bumble bee. I owe him as we got to stay home instead of me having to go shopping. He was feeling off all day, not wanting to eat, except for a few pieces of broccoli and peas - the meat was untouched. Even a piece of chicken was refused. Never thought a dog would want to join in with Don on a totally plant based diet.

This morning dog is still not at all right. The black cat walked by outside without raising a single bark. All he wants to do is lie in his basket and sleep. I will trust his instints for now and hope more rest does the trick, if not it looks like being a trip to the vet.

First time for me on this thread, Had a good rain last night even some thunder, most of the rain has moved out and it is supposed to go to 69 today. Nothing special planed for today, just the normal day in day out stuff. Ed

47 and rain is ending. Should become a nice 68 degree day. Local weather guy says maybe a little snow Sunday night.

Eric, hope your dog is better. I read your comment about poached egg on crumpet to my wife yesterday, and sure enough that's what I had for breakfast. You were right, double decadence. Maybe one for your dog today would help?

33F now everything white again mid 40's for high w/showers.

Heard lot people fussing about loss of an hour sleep yesterday at work.

Almost half way thru March so far acting like lamb.

52 this morning high of 69 later today with plenty of sunshine and no rain but damage is done everything is soupy wet so engineers holiday of sorts
