Good Morning Everyone!!!
An unexpected “warm” 30ºF to start the morning, temperature then dropped to the mid 20ºF’s and it is now 31ºF close to today’s predicted high temperature. Contrails are not evaporating this morning and the clouds are starting to build in, but the sun is still shining. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for my area late tonight through tomorrow morning due to the pending storm’s mixed precipitation at the storm's onset..... Then rain. The next modeled New Years storm will probably be another “wet” event. Then from the NWS/Norton- “…. Tuesday and Wednesday we remain on the eastern branch of a longwave trough over the central U.S. This leaves us under continued SW flow with multiple shortwaves rotating through of variable strength whichcould bring periods of wet weather through the period. Too much uncertainty to nail down precise timing of rain/snow at this point.” Not too wintry in this part of the NE CONUS.
Harv- Really nice fencework. Thanks for sharing.
David- Nice place. I hope you can fully appreciate your anticipated energy conservation day today. You too Bill.
Mike- Good luck with the salvage and reconstruction projects. I use self tapping wood screws for almost every project nowadays. Good luck.
RonJH- It’s great to read that you are re-gaining use of your right hand. I hope you achieve full ROM and grip strength soon.
“stepped on scale this morning, have gained ten pounds. Groan. More salads, less cookies.”- Drew I am in the same condition/situation. At least I can still see my feet and floor scale, can fit in my pants, and have not yet gone to the next larger belt hole.
RNG- Thanks for sharing your cycle tour. I wish you safe travels and a safe return. Nice motorcycles. My sister graduated from a Harley to a BMW during her first marriage.
I hope that all the construction projects going on here continue as expected w/o “surprisess.’
My + thoughts, prayers and wishes.
