Good morning!!!!

Some time last night it got down to -3° for the low this morning. Today is going to be in the mid teens for the high with a 50% chance of snow showers for today.

We got back from SLC yesterday afternoon. We had good time over the holiday with the daughter and the grandkids. The kids made out like bandits, we got them each a a Remington 770 youth model in .243. Come to find out my daughters boyfriend got them each a Mossberg 20 ga. Needless to say they are happy campers.

We got a few inches of snow why we were gone. The plans for today is to move it around and get ready for the next one. That will take a few hours on the tractor and fore wheeler.

Hope everyone has a nice day.
CWB.

Mild weather clear skies a nice contrast to Mondayç—´ very wet road down to Santa Rosa. Tuesday a little more rain going up the Kern river canyon but we got paid off in rainbows around every corner. A cold night in Kernville And then a sunny start the next morning. Had to replace a brand new dead battery at the first gas stop. Thank goodness my friend was able to find one at the next town over. Now ere in the dry eastern part of Southern California in the little town of Indio. Will tour in air museum today And spend another night here before heading to the camp out in the Enzo Burger desert on Friday. Hope everyone is enjoying the Christmas weather where theyæ±*e at

I went and looked at the thermometer a few minutes ago. -10°F. It is 'supposed' to warm up to 16F later today.

46°F and rain this morning, going up to 59° today. Rain here is expected to end around noon-ish.

Wife and her brother put up some new 4x4 posts in the chicken/duck area yesterday to better support the net that covers the area. Much easier to walk in there now.

I did a whole lot of nothing last night, beyond "conserving energy." Sat around with The Wife and watched a movie before putting up the featherbutts and going to bed.

Hope the finger heals well, BEF.

I feel your pain, Drew. I don't even want to know how much weight I've gained in the last month. We are swamped with baked goods at our house. The fit of my clothes is telling me I need to stop dodging the salad as well. :licking:

That's an awesome Christmas. A new ***** and a new *******.

Love those R100RTs. Still my favorite BMW. Sure do miss mine. What a great bike.

Hope your battery issue isn't deeper than just a bad battery.

Go with the metal pull down ladder version. I installed one of those when we sold the house in Wylie and the difference is absolutely huge, it’s like walking up a staircase vs a rickety ladder.

I sure agree with that. Our house has the wooden one, and it's . . . OK? . . . but a few years ago, I helped my son-in-law install one of those metal versions in a house and it sure is better.

:
"Dr, will I be able to play my guitar when my finger heals?" Dr says, "Sure you will play just fine". Me, "Well that's good, I could never play fine before."

lets just say I won't be fretting no guitar today, but I can pick just fine.

Good Morning Everyone!!!

An unexpected “warm” 30ºF to start the morning, temperature then dropped to the mid 20ºF’s and it is now 31ºF close to today’s predicted high temperature. Contrails are not evaporating this morning and the clouds are starting to build in, but the sun is still shining. A Winter Weather Advisory has been issued for my area late tonight through tomorrow morning due to the pending storm’s mixed precipitation at the storm's onset..... Then rain. The next modeled New Years storm will probably be another “wet” event. Then from the NWS/Norton- “…. Tuesday and Wednesday we remain on the eastern branch of a longwave trough over the central U.S. This leaves us under continued SW flow with multiple shortwaves rotating through of variable strength whichcould bring periods of wet weather through the period. Too much uncertainty to nail down precise timing of rain/snow at this point.” Not too wintry in this part of the NE CONUS. :(

Harv- Really nice fencework. Thanks for sharing.

David- Nice place. I hope you can fully appreciate your anticipated energy conservation day today. You too Bill.

Mike- Good luck with the salvage and reconstruction projects. I use self tapping wood screws for almost every project nowadays. Good luck.

RonJH- It’s great to read that you are re-gaining use of your right hand. I hope you achieve full ROM and grip strength soon.

“stepped on scale this morning, have gained ten pounds. Groan. More salads, less cookies.”- Drew I am in the same condition/situation. At least I can still see my feet and floor scale, can fit in my pants, and have not yet gone to the next larger belt hole.

RNG- Thanks for sharing your cycle tour. I wish you safe travels and a safe return. Nice motorcycles. My sister graduated from a Harley to a BMW during her first marriage.

I hope that all the construction projects going on here continue as expected w/o “surprisess.’

My + thoughts, prayers and wishes.

69 °F and .17 inches rain

Potentially busy day today. Put furniture back in place on newly stained & sealed lanias. Would really like to get call from supplier that remainder of acid stain is ready for pickup as I’d like to get that applied today, last chance until next week.
Sears tech scheduled this afternoon, hopefully finish up Nov appointment.
Looking dry enough to go work in my mud hole project.

Prayers for all
Be safe
Have a great day
