BEF, suggest you remove opposite side wheel and take a hard look at that axel before making your final decision. You could suffer same problem, on that side, in the future.
Already ordered the kit from tuff torq with both axles. Tomorrow i hope to take it off the mower.

So my first thought seeing the cut down fence was where to put the cutoff portion.
Looks very nice

It's going to go along a side property line to 'enclose' the entire front area of the property, basically running almost parallel to the lower fence. There was a wire fence w/ T-posts that was installed by the previous next door neighbor. When I subdivided the property, the survey revealed that his fence was infringing onto my property for about 300'. I have a written and signed agreement with the new owners to take that wire fence down. Then I'll put up the 'cut off sections' in the correct location

LS, fence look nice but it also looks like a lot of work. Ed

It actually was easier than I expected. Struck a line across each section, measured exactly in half. Took a c-saw to it across the pickets. When I originally installed it, I used screws to attach the runners to the posts. Take out about 8 screws and the whole panel lifts off in one piece. Got 28 - 8' sections stacked, only 2 more to go.... It will be much harder to re-install the sections in the new area.

Good morning! 74˚ clear skies heading to the high 90's. I'm watering tomatoes in the keyhole garden and the one watermelon plant in the garden daily. Hopefully there will be a watermelon ready by July 4th - for the new owners. Yes, the Farm is sold to one of my childhood neighbor's cousin. I remember him visiting on our street in Houston about 40 years ago and his aunt and my mother still talk to each other regularly. His wife and my wife have the same taste so she fell in love with the house and he likes rustic land so the land sold the place for him. They had been looking for a year and had a lot of requirements. One requirements was that the house should be facing South and the first thing he did when he got out of his truck is to look at his phone compass as he was standing next to the compass rose - now that's funny. He and his children and grand children really appreciate all the projects I have done the last 20 years. His grand daughters went fishing in my pond yesterday and caught (and released) some big bass I never knew were there, I guess when my neighbors pond overflowed I got his fish.
He is also like Drew and always needs an extra tractor so he is now a Kubota owner. We are renting back till we move, but I will soon need a new avatar. Time to start packing.
.

The cat is finally out of the bag. I've been sitting patiently on this info for over a week... I went over and I had the nicest visit last Friday. Don really had a beautiful home and place. I got the grand tour in the form of a whipper guided golf cart tour. We went over to his family's land too. All in all a great morning. I will miss them here in Lee county. I hope whipper can adjust to city life. Maybe time to call the dog whisperer guy.

Randy, prayers for Ronnie.

BEF, you can fix it for $180, and keep on going.

We are having problems with our 10 year old middle daughter. Any prayers will be appreciated. Her autism is kicking our parenting's proverbial arse.

Eric, the seats are quite expensive. I will say the better seat on our 5420 is at least twice as good as the 4310 tractor. Hope the sheep shearing went well. Sounds messy.

Prayers for all that need them.

Good evening all. 75F for the start, light wind, mostly sunny sky. Sky cleared off, wind came up and was quite breezy this afternoon, high temp was 95F. Men's meeting this morning, then dog walk then bike ride. After lunch nap :). One more dog walk, dog acted like a puppy tonight, some nights wont even go for walk :confused3:
Don congrats on quick sale to good new owners. What will you do with all your new time?
LS nice landscaping and fence work.
Buckeye, good luck with your axle repair.
Hawkeye, had 500+ hours on 16 hp vangard on the Agco when I sold it, lost track of it when I moved, no serious issues, just 1 or two minor oil leaks.
Randy good to hear SIL not as serious as could be. Remember if he does repetitive motion with hands or wrist can cause hand tingle as well.
Prayers for all.

. . . What will you do with all your new time?

That's what they asked when I retired to the country. Never a dull moment even when I searched for one. Soon with over 100 interest groups and clubs, it's not "what am I going to do with my time", it's "do I have enough time to do everything".

Roy, glad it worked so well for you after all your hard work putting it together.
I learned not to rush mine and just have it feed in slowly

I just stick the butt of the tree or branch in and let the machine do it's work...75' per minute isn't that fast, but fast enough

53 right now...high in the mid-80's today.

Got a guy coming by to replace the back gutters this afternoon. They've needed replacement since we bought the place 5 years ago...last winter really put a hurtin' to them.

Litte wind this morning to move the clouds along ,no wonder weather predictors are saying those unlucky enough to be under the path of the thunder storms that are bubbling up to be in for a thorough soaking.

Don, the Magnolia looks great, is yours already fully built or still under construction ? If Sun City doesn't already have an Instant pot Appreciation Society, my bet is that one will be coming before the year is out.

lightleader, looking forward to seeing the pics of where you live.

LS So all went well with your new neighbour over reinstating the boundary. Some people would take offence when you they found you were going to take a fence

Good morning all. 69 this morning going to 81 with a 40-80% chance of showers-thunderstorms. Worked on cleaning out the garage yesterday and then ran some errands. Need to mow if it gets dry enough.

Kyle, prayers already headed your way.

Prayers for all in need. Have a great day. Ed

Drinking first cup of coffee. 71° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 87° with possibility of thunderstorm in afternoon. No real plans for today. Take it as they come.

Don, like the house plans. Did you replace TV yet?

LS, nice yard fence.

Randy, glad SIL is going to be OK.

Roy, sure us a nice chipper. I wish I had a bigger tractor to stick them 6+" logs in.

Buckeye, video recording of your axle repair would be nice. :tractor::D

Kyle, prayers for you and your daughter.

Prayers for all those in need.

Good Morning All.

72 going to 84 today with more showers/thunderstorms. Hopefully will finally dry out tomorrow, so I can get orchard spraying done.

Turns out my new lady friend is exceptionally well preserved, and 19 years older than me. Oh well...
And I'm no spring chicken... but at least a new friend, and someone who knows everyone in the area, maybe she can suggest someone
a little more age appropriate...

Wet and drippy out(about the total opposite of LS's pics) with everything a deep green and growing like mad.
Including the mold. My neighbor's new pressure washing business is going quite well, good repeat business.

Btw, LS you did an amazing job with your home and landscaping. Now if I could send you an inch of rain every Wednesday...

Good morning! 74˚ heading to the high 90's.
Ron, not yet.
Eric the house is a two year old house. IPAS, I think you are on to something, maybe even a VIPAS.
Drew 80s?

68 and going to 73 with showers. Wind SSE 11 gusting to 18 mph.

The gravel showed up at 2:45 for the first of 4 loads. 22 tons to a load +/- . I started at 2:45, stopped for supper at 5 until 6 and finished at 8 PM. There is 5 tons left to spread today after I get back from North Bay.

TxDon; are you going to move yourself or hire it out?

Have a good day all

/ Good morning!!!! #76,860
Roy, sure us a nice chipper. I wish I had a bigger tractor to stick them 6+" logs in.

I've got 46-47 PTO HP...the branches and trunk I chipped yesterday doesn't bog the tractor at all.
When I bought the 4520, it was because it was the only used one I could find with a cab...the extra PTO HP was just an added benefit.
