Boy, feels like a brisk early March day! It's only 50 here right now...and quite breezy.

The mandatory outdoor work was done yesterday...I was just outside with the dog and heard my neighbor mowing his half of the field with his Z930 Deere. I'll wager he's pretty chilly (all he has to do is ask and I'll mow his field...done it before).

Good morning all. 61F this morning going to 76F partly cloudy and moderate breeze. Going back to the steering rack installation, have to start over, didn't realize there was a front and back to one of the brackets :(

Dave (moss) good to hear the update.

Dave hope your mom's bones start healing.

RNG nice work on the loader!

Buppies you have "plastic soil" in your neck of the woods. It is around here, clay that does not harden like normal clay.

Good Morning. 1025, sunny, 79F with 58% humidity. Forecast high of 90F with 10% chance of rain today, and a low of 68F tonight. A little warmer today. This morning at 0100 when I was driving in from work it was 64F. That is jacket weather around here.

My morning started off wrong footed when my boss called me at home about 0740 to tell me the first customers today had changed their opening time to 0800 and she had forgot to write it on my schedule. Luckily there were no one with radar along my commute this morning. I was only a couple of minutes late. Another long day for me. I have a party that goes until midnight, then I get to clean up. Nothing tomorrow, so I may come back to town to finish it then. These late nights get harder to handle the older I get.

This is one of the biggest racing weekends of the year. No matter what kind of racing you like, there will be something for you on Sunday. Starting early in the morning with the Grand Prix of Monaco, then later in the morning the Indie 500, and late afternoon the Coke 600.

Hope everyone has a good weekend,

Larro

For some reason unknown to me, English gallons are not quite the same as US gallons. It's probably the only thing that is bigger in the UK than in the USA (about 1/5th more).

.

Originally the gallon was based on the volume of 10 pounds of water. An ounce is 1/160th of a gallon, so that makes your h'pint at the local pub 10 ounces.

63F and very sunny @ 11:20 ... heading up to a high of 72F

Have managed to get about 75% of the old compost pile screened ... with the sun and the high temp today I should be able to knock out most of the rest of it.

The screened pile is getting huge ... hopefully we'll be able to get a good bit of transplanting done over the next several days if we can avoid the t-storms.

Ran into the drainage place yesterday and picked up the last fittings I need (hopefully) to finish the plumbing for the downspout line on the southwest corner of the house.

Hope everyone has an enjoyable and productive day.

RNG,

Beautiful view you have there

Love the area ... used to live in Sac ... worked for a guy up in Penryn that had a tree service company.

Thanks, and Buppies too.

Mom was back into the nursing home 24 hours after the surgery for more rehab and care. I think that's a good sign. A younger person would probably have just gone home. The Docs said the surgery went well and she looks like she is feeling much better in a pic my brother sent.

I'll bet you are into moving mode as soon as the car is done.

It sure doesn't feel like late May. I took the dogs out wearing a hooded sweatshirt. Windy here too.

Up around Caribou, ME they had enough snow to cover the ground last night.

The forecast for Wednesday is high 80's, might hit 90. Pretty crazy weather we've had in all of 2015 so far.

RS, have you figured out a way to automate this?
how do you do it?
I'm sure someone makes a three point hitch attachment for that...;)

Guests have left. Nice to see them, nice to see them leave...
The B&B is now closed.
