Was going to get 570 full size, but looking at them beside each other, liked the 900 better. Has underseat storage, frame is built better for accessories, tilt steering, and got a good deal on eps.

32 right now and only going to get a couple degrees warmer as the high today. My neighbor was kind enough to clear the snow from my drive and front walk yesterday, so that saved me some work when I got home...I had cleared his drive last week when we had the heavier snow, so....it's nice being neighborly and returned favors make good neighbors.

I hope the drive in today is easier then yesterday!

Good evening
2318 and the rain taking a break. 6.71 inches last 23 hours. :)

36 going to 64.

Bought a little paint yesterday to use to celebrate the 60s today. I wish I had thought of buying an oil filter for the Tundra...need to do an oil change...the free service only provides one for each of the first 10,000 miles. I still can't accept that as the interval, even with synthetic. May make a trip into town while still too cold this morning.

David, crazy amount of rain you're getting...but you seem to dry out quickly.

The temporary ground gutter I made along the new addition to the barn worked great for the roof runoff of the 1.5 inches of rain we got, but the ground slope is unfavorable, so still had too much water running down to the barn. Definitely will need to do some ground work, even if I put gutters on for rain barrels.

Drew, I bet you slept great after that shot yesterday.

Roy, sounds like you being a nice neighbor makes other nice neighbors.

Buppies, sounds like your new heated bathroom floors may be ready for when the cold weather returns.

Started working on taxes yesterday. Whatever happened to that plan of doing it all on a postcard?

27F now upper 30's for high.
Started w/pickup with plow clear parking area driveway, this type of snow pickup was almost useless for the plow would ride upon the wet heavy snow :( park the pickup hop on the tractor between front plow and scraper blade the wintery mess didn't stand a chance,30 mins.quicker slop push back futher than what pickup/plow could have done. :dance1:

Maybe chance of rain again tonight. :(

Well of to the grind soon.

Enjoy the day all.

About 48 this Am. Looks to be a nice day shaping up. Will trek into the woods today as I think a big tree fell over yesterday. I see a clear spot on the tree tops and a shadow by the ground. Maybe a chain saw day. No maul today, whine. LOL.

Have a great day all. Still waiting on the other insurance company to call me back about my rear end damage. Any bets they are trying to weasel out of it?

41 high of 64 later almost spring like but the cold returns this weekend. Nothing brutal just normal cold and could be a surprise snow for WVA Va Md and Pa. A couple of inches if it happens

Good morning,
Currently 27 and snowing here in SLC. Not supposed to amount to much 1-3 inches.
I'm getting a new snowmobile today, excited to try it out Friday. I'll ride it stock this year and turbo it for next year. Well, at least that's how I see it. My wife might not see the value in 100 more HP.:D

Good morning. Temp is 23 and shooting allllllllll the way up to 32 today. 30% chance of flurries, too.
My parts came in yesterday just before supper time, so I have that job to do today AND plow the driveway.

The new ventilation hole I cut in my computer case is just the cats pajamas! The video card temperature hasn't gone above 30C since I did it. It used to get all the way up into the 40s.

45 this morning and headed to 60 today. Last warm day for a while.

Hopefully the cow pin is dried out enough to get the tractor around in. Before the freeze thaw cycle starts back. Mud is deep everywhere cows in places are going to their knees. Hard for them and me to walk. Ground starting to firm up. Hard on tractor also as front axle isn't supposed to drag the ground in those spots. :). But it does.

Otherwise it's back to chicken coop maintenance and taxes.

Poured frist cup of coffee. 36° with clear skies this morning. Heading to 55° with sunny skies. Kind of chilly this morning. Taking wife to Clinic for another test.
David S, that's a lot of rain.
Cat, what brand snowmobile.
Buppies, warm bath floor is always great.
Good Morning All.

Speaking of cows;
I redid my cow feeder to get them out of the barn. So now their heads are in the barn while eating, but they stand outside. WOW, I did not anticipate the mud and standing muck! I will pour some concrete this summer for them to stand on while eating.

Life is strange. In 1988, I was working in the Quad 4 plant in Lansing, Michigan. When they canceled the Fiero, that pretty much killed the plant, we were scheduled about 50K units per year for the Fiero. We never knew why it was canceled. We had a turbo Quad 4 Fiero at the plant, and I got a chance to drive it, it was awesome!!

That engine was interesting. The blocks came from Germany, the heads from Italy, ( Castings ). The engine was extremely well built, but too expensive for the market that it was in. We put most of them in Grand Ams, but when they started offering the V6 as a $500 upgrade, it shut our plant down. The base was a Iron Duke 4, no upcharge, 500 for the v6, and $1100 for the Q4.
It was one of 4 engine programs I worked on that were canceled. I think GM in those days was going in too many directions at once.

I would love to have the never built '89, PM me sometime about the drive, sounds like a blast! Wife had an '88 Grand Am with the 2.0 turbo Brazilian motor, it was quick, not much low end torque, it was only 160 h.p.

46 headed to 55 they say, sunshine for the first time in over a week! I think we are going to miss Buppies snow if it happens, we may get flurries early Monday.

Good morning! 56˚ heading to 66˚ North breeze.

I'm still working on my perimeter trail on the east fence line. Yesterday was all hand work from side and top encroaching limbs and brush on the trail. I'm at the pond wash out and will need to do some dirt work to minimize the 4' drop-off from the erosion last spring so the Yamaha golf cart can pass over. I put some side rear view mirrors on the Yamaha so I can keep track of Whipper and not turn into her as she runs wild during our excursions.

I'll be out there with my phone so I might post a few working tractor pics.

I'm tying a made up recipe in my dehydrator. A 3 ingredient cracker: cinnamon, dates, ground flaxseed. It should be done in 20 hours.

Kyle, kale chips sound ugly but they do not taste anything like raw kale. The spice/cashew/red pepper coating makes them crunchy and the taste is like nothing you have experienced before. Don't dismiss them too quickly.

Math question of the day: If I take a time lapse video while driving around the perimeter trail how many minutes will the movie be. 1 frame per 8 seconds, going 4 MPH, and trail is 3 miles.

A quick guess. 5.625 minutes. .75 X 60 minutes X 60 seconds / 8 seconds / 60 seconds.

Good Morning! 38F @ 7:00AM. A mix of clouds and sun during the morning will give way to cloudy skies this afternoon. High 44F. Winds light and variable.

Good luck with the roof repair, Kyle. Is it still watertight, or are you worried about rain?

Don, need to know the playback frame rate to answer your question.

18 minute wait when I called about the missing switch yesterday, so I started a chat session instead. Five minute wait there, and at first got the New York brush off. Got passed off to Customer Service, who agreed to send a replacement. Glad that's over!

Dug out the conduit in four spots, finding two breaks. Still one more to find as I still can't pull out the antenna wire.

Happy Hump Day!
