Good morning, looks like a tornado touch down in the Windsor area last night around 7pm, just south of Detroit. 12 homes damaged and 3 people hurt, no warning, and very rare to have tornados in our area.

Friends of ours live just down the block from the damage. Never new that anything happened until someone on Facebook asked if they were OK. :confused2:

Ed, have you found time to try out your new welder yet, or have you been too busy buying things to fill your new toy cupboard ? It must be great fun to have a plasma, I could happily spend all day cutting things into two and then welding them back up again.:laughing::

Actually You have me pegged. Between the heat and family and buying new tools it sets where it landed when it came out of the car. I'll get to it before long, I hope. Ed

Good mor.... uh... evening.
Sister called yesterday and was looking for a board from the foot board of an old antique bed that I had stored in a 45' box trailer. Left here at 4am and was there at 5:30 and we looked for about 2 and 1/2 hours and just as we were giving up we found it. then went and visited mom and took her to the Golden oldies meal. Once a month the oldies go to the village restaurant and eat and talk, mostly talk. About 35 people and I knew most of them. They said I fit in well with my gray beard, it was fun. Home now and tired.

Surprised about the tornadoes in Indiana and Windsor areas. I hate bad storms.

We are still moving/throwing out stuff at work for the big cleanup. I plan on scoring some really cool stuff tomorrow. Taking the trailer to load up again. Craigslist/Ebay here I come.

Back from setting up the field, it's getting closer to being finished. The tents now have picnic tables under them, the auction benches are set up, 40 trash cans are placed though-out, lights are up, volley ball court has 6 loads of fresh beach sand, horseshoe court is being set-up, bridge is repaired, auction stage is coming together . . . .etc etc. . .

Thunderstorms still at 40% for Sat.

. . .and to think, Sunday it all comes down.

Last day of the work week! I'll probably pick up my newest 10/22 this afternoon. The scope, ammo and mag were delivered to the house yesterday. Any kind of luck, I mount the scope and see if I can work on that trigger pull (good groups, but down and to the right)

Good morning. After a day of mist, with rain most of the evening and night, there is no way I would have guessed I would be waking up to a completely clear blue sky this morning, if it had not been for the nice young lady on tv who reassured us there would be one fine day to come this summer. Best of all, I've run out of paint, so I have a great excuse to get out with the new sunglasses on and go decapitating thistles for a few hours.

Kyle, your cleanout at work sounds like Christmas, except that instead of Santa delivering, you get to go collect the toys, together with that feeling or uncertainty as to which of those on your wish list will be yours. Enjoy your celebration today, though perhaps best not talk machine tools to your wife all evening :laughing:

Roy, guess you know this already, but I find the best way to work on the trigger technique with a new rifle is to first shoot without live ammo until the sights stay in place each time I gently squeeze and release the shot.
