Drew, you need to get that fixed as soon as your Dr recommends it.

David, glad to hear of the possibilities.

Possible rain here for the next 3 days.

I won a pair of Texas Aggie tickets at work. The game is late 8pm local. Last week had a 2 hour lightning delay. Hope that doesn't happen this week. They play Rice, who played hard in the 1st half last week against Notre Dame but lost in the end.

Good Evening. 2210, partly cloudy, 75F with 92% humidity. Today's high was 96F and the forecast low is 72F for tonight. The forcast highs dip into the 80's by Monday, and the lows into the 60's on Wednesday. Looking forward to it. I picked my peas, then went over to Mamma's and picked her peas and cut the okra this morning. I was soaked after the first few minutes.

I walked over to Mamma's about an hour ago, and got to see the moon rise. Very pretty out tonight. It was kind of egg shaped.

Drew, glad to hear the good news from your Doctor. Hope the rest of them are more of the same.

David {MFW}, it sounds like things are starting to look up. Just getting out to work will make you feel better.

Hope everyone had a good day.

Larro

56F and mostly cloudy @ 02:45 ... will be partly sunny with a high of only 66F today.

Was cold and rainy yesterday so I spent the day inside, working on finishing up the grapple design and modeling it in 3 dimensions ...

Definitely a big change in the weather.

Had to make some compromises/adjustments on size - due to fact that I've pilfered some of the material for other stuff and/or didn't order full sticks of some stuff initially ... still, it stands around 4' tall when plumb, with the jaw closed ... and it looks like it will have a jaw opening of around 55 inches ...

Should have it finished up in the next couple of hours, with a cut list/B.O.M. ... which will be good because then I can run the numbers and see what it will weigh when assembled. I think I'll be able to get fairly close to my target weight of 350 pounds.

Probably post some renderings in the build thread later today.

74 degrees at this early hour, going up to 81, which is cooler than it has been for sure, and then a rainy weekend apparently. Might even start today, but the temps are dropping tonight below 70 degrees for the first time.
A welcome change and gives the a/c a rest.

off to town for health insurance change, pick out kitchen floor and backsplash tile, and then off to another doc this afternoon, only to get a referral so I can make an appt with the arthritis doc. I told them my insurance doesn't require referrals but they said they did. Ok. Unfortunately I have to see a bunch of docs all at one time, getting established in a new town.

this is for Larro, our resident historian and writer.

The Eastern end of Washington, well NE, where I am, is inhabited densely by two families,
the Woolards and the Alligoods. And I'm told when they marry they become a Wooligood...:)
Now I know your story is on the other end of town, but I bet these folk were around then...

At the pharmacy, they have two huge bins in the W section labeled Woolard. I need to write the other two family names down for you.
