Luckily the kid next door is available to help. I had to chuckle when I mentioned to him all this equipment coming in, remembering it's all farm country around us and my tractors are tiny compared to most of the neighbors.

I think the only problem i might have is the tractor i haven't had much experience driving one. But i am a very fast learner if you show me the ropes i will be good to go

now I liked the fact he admitted his limitations. He's young enough that I might be able to do some mentoring if that works out. No job, new baby. Well, he is about to get put to work. I have to learn to do more finger pointing and less lifting.

Mine (the neighbor kid) grew up, graduated, went to work, started his own business, acquired a bunch of young friends ... and unfortunately has become totally unreliable, as far as getting him to show up and help out ...

To the point that I've pretty much given up on him and started to look for someone else.

Yep, I could get spoiled with these August temps - 60 again this morning, and high only 82. Problem is we need some of your southwest Virginia rain over here, Buppies. Very dry.

We were dry until this weekend now thing are nice and wet even soaked but this heavy drizzle we are having now is very good for ground and shrubs

Good morning, 68F when I woke up heading to 75F. Worked yesterday, then did work at new house, then mowed lawn at old house and packed some more. Will be glad when the move is over in September so I can start enjoying the new house.

Good Morning. 0920, sunny, 85F {99 heat index} with 85% humidity. Forecast high of 87F with 80% chance of thunderstorms this afternoon, and a low of 84F tonight. We have had almost 5" of rain the last two days. Looks like there will be more today.

I just finished my lifting and breakfast. This was my first day to do standard reps for the month. Last Thursday I was still getting over the canoe trip so I did an extra day of pre-view reps. {I increase my weights at the beginning of each month} I have to get out to the garden and do the picking and put down a couple of T-post and some wooden stakes for the tomatoes. Then run over to Mamma's to pick one of her melons that is ready. She wants me to take some with me today when I go down to visit. I'm having lunch with her in the cafeteria today. It looks like she will get transferred to the Blountstown Health and Rehab on Wednesday. She doesn't think she is ready to come home yet. Since she is fighting an infection right now, and has IV antibiotics, I'm glad she made that decision.

Good morning all. 70F (no fog) this morning going to 85F and sunny. Off to a very slow start this morning. Have to sharpen the mower blades and mow today, and only have 3 albums left to finish the vinyl to mp3 project (started 3 years ago). This week will go over 2,000 miles on the bicycle for the year.

Failed at doing nothing yesterday, I did clean up the fallen tree branches. Actually mowed them into oblivion with the flail.

Hey all, I just got a bit of better news.

One of the jobs I interviewed for back on 7/31 seems I knocked it out of the park and I am well established at the top of the list. I still need to interview with the CEO, COO, and there are a couple more candidates (even if they are just for checksum purposes), so this is not an offer letter for probably a couple more weeks, but there is a definite chance here for me.
