Good morning!!!!

I was dreaming the other night that a bee stung me on my thigh. The next morning I though I had Sciatica nerve pain from working on a ladder. Yesterday afternoon my temperature out of the blue shot up to 101.8 - no respiratory problems, or stomach problems. Tonight I see a purple spot (quarter size) on my thigh where that dream bee stung me. I marked it to see if it is growing temperature has gone. That must have been one mean spider, we have both black widow and brown recluse spiders. I'm up on spider watch now.

Ed you are going to miss all these "country" "adventures".

Finally bought myself a mid life crisis car. No, not a Corvette. But I did find a supercharged Jaguar sedan from 12 years ago for all of 15 grand, wow did those things depreciate, and after selling my Avalon because I didn't think I needed a car, now I'm buying one again. Will be a garage queen and go to dinner car. For the first time I might actually have bought a car that will hold its value

Very nice Drew. I tend not to spend much time polishing cars, but I certainly would with that one.

I remember as a child going to Edinburgh to visit a relative of our next door neighbour and being given a ride in his Jaguar. It was the first time I had ever seen a car seat made out of leather, which felt at the time very strange. The engine could one second purr as sweetly as RS's simplicity and the next accelerate away at a pace that I had never experienced before.

Good morning all. A little cooler this morning, we only missed a frost by a degree last night, or make that two degrees for those of you still in Fahrenheit.

Clankety clank
My dad told me a few stories from WW2. A few years before he died I persuaded him to write some of them down for me in a little book, the others he mostly kept for his nightmares. I was going to tell you about one time when he was guarding tanks, although perhaps I should start with clippety clop - at the outbreak of war he was on horseback.

Hey, how about, I shut up for the next few days and I'll let my dad say Good morning, with an extract or two from each year ? His name was Eric too. I could also type what I think he would say, if he was still around. Kind of weird, but could be fun too - what do you reckon ?

Sounds like a terrific idea, Eric. Go for it.

Good Morning All. 46 here this morning going to 69, chance of rain this morning and rain expected after noon. The guy that bought the Massey and equipment is supposed to pick it up today. Hope he comes this morning, I am supposed to help him load and I like to take my shower in the shower no outside. It seems strange to get rid of the Massey and only have a lawn tractor, but I believe there is a path for me to follow and it is best if I follow that path. By this time next month I should be close to being a city slicker. Ed

I waited a little to long to miss out on some of those things, My wife and I both have lime and some or all of it wonderful little symptoms. That is part of the reason we are moving to the city. Hope you feel better soon, if you get tired of all of this country fun I'll save you an adirondack chair and a glass of tea. :cool2::laughing: Prayers sent for your return to health. Ed

Need to pour second cup of coffee. 43° with partly cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 51° with mostly cloudy skies. Lots of rain overnight . .54". Yesterday got the lawn cut. But when I got Trak-Vac out. It was leaking gas from several places. Repairs did not stop the leaks. New fuel lines, fuel pump and shutoff valve on order.
Going to be a cold family get together tomorrow. Should keep most inside house.
Don, spider bites? Do they make boots to protect from them? Get better soon.
Drew, nice car. A friend has the same model and a convertible. He also had a restored 60's E Series. Sold that and bought the current Convertible. Nice cars to ride in.
Ed, moving to the city would be a major move for me. But someday it will happen. You can still live the country life with us Good Morning people.
Good Morning All.

50 right now...heading up to 74 today.

Boy, sure was nice sleeping in today!

Since I took those trees (I'd written about a few weeks ago) down Wednesday, today is an adventure day! We (wife, step-daughter and I) are heading to the wilds of NEK (North East Kingdom) for a day trip. Since wifey and step-daughter planned the trip, I'm sure there will be a wilderness Wal-Mart somewhere in the the travels.

I am not very worried. It will be a big change but i know it will be best. I do enjoy "Good Morning" so I am sure you will still have me around here for a good while, and Waynesboro Va is not a huge city by any one thinking. Has a lot of things close by like any city but also has the mountains, Skyline Drive and farms very near as well. Ed

54.2F and raining ... low tonight will be in the 30's ... :(

Report of Simplicity repair was premature ... still getting crap into the fuel bowl after changing out the fuel lines. There are three total and I replaced them all:

1. tank ---> filter, 2. filter ---> to some device on top of the engine, 3. device on top of the engine to carb.

Dunno what the device on top of the engine is ... looks to actually part of the engine ... fuel pump mebbe ?

At any rate, the amount of debris making it into the float bowl seems less and less each time I pull the carb and clean it.

Trip into town also didn't fly ... U. B.'s trailer wasn't wide enough ... couldn't load the Simplicity ... :(

Did manage to get a little done on the 3PH frame for the LPGS.

Good morning! ow,ow,ow The brown recluse sunk his fangs and deposited his venum in my thigh right where a gun holster would sit. My thigh is swollen about an inch. After 72 hours the swelling should stop (another 16 hours) and I can begin the 6-8 weeks of healing. High fever and muscles aches and pains are a real side effect. An ink line on the two different colors of tissue damage are marked in the photo below to see if it is still spreading. It has not spread in the last 8 hours. If you google Brown recluse spider bites do not post them they will upset me.

I would take a good scorpion bite over this any day.

Eric I need a good story about now.
