62 heading to 74. Got 2.5 more inches, and still raining. I almost had to swim over to the rain gauge.

It poured here all night and is still raining. The beavers dam is a roaring cascade, and the pond is within 2" or less of cresting my dam.

But the house smells clean from rain smell, and the basement is dry still.

I have to go North in terrible traffic to turn in my laptop, corp AmEx and badge... Sigh... Sometimes life sucks, but God has a plan and it is a good one, I just need to get onto it.

Good morning, chilly one here with temp at only 39F with a predicted high of only 54F. Not a great way to started off the Canadian holiday weekend. Suppose to be cool all weekend.

Drew, you are right, they were yard eggs. One of Margie's friends keeps us supplied. Some of them are so small it takes four to make a decent omelet, and the ones I had today were huge. The lady charges $1.50 per dozen for the big ones. I don't know how she pays for her chicken feed with prices that low.

Good Morning. 0810, sunny, a cold 58F with 51% humidity. Forecast high of 79F and a low of 58F. Since today is Friday, I will be going in to work early. So I'm not sure what I'll get into this morning. The grass needs cutting, but there isn't time to finish it. I guess I can do up close to the house, and leave the rest until next week. Everyone have a good weekend.

The lady won't take any money from us, so now and then Margie will tell her we sold a dozen she gave us, just so she will take payment. She has about 30 chickens, so I know they do some eating.

Good morning all. 40F this morning predicted high of 60F and sunny. No rain and warming about 5F a day for the next few days. Painter should finish today, and we will get the main part of the house back in order. Gotta get the bike tuned up for the KS trip.
