62 heading to 74. Got 2.5 more inches, and still raining. I almost had to swim over to the rain gauge.
It poured here all night and is still raining. The beavers dam is a roaring cascade, and the pond is within 2" or less of cresting my dam.
But the house smells clean from rain smell, and the basement is dry still.
I have to go North in terrible traffic to turn in my laptop, corp AmEx and badge... Sigh... Sometimes life sucks, but God has a plan and it is a good one, I just need to get onto it.

Drew, you are right, they were yard eggs. One of Margie's friends keeps us supplied. Some of them are so small it takes four to make a decent omelet, and the ones I had today were huge. The lady charges $1.50 per dozen for the big ones. I don't know how she pays for her chicken feed with prices that low.

We are selling for $4 a dozen, I don't think we are covering costs at that.
