Yep you can buy them or a good fuel supplier will usually have one or two available for loan if you are a good customer. Mine was originally a ground based tank. It has a skid under tank that you might see in my picture. It was a gift from a friend in the very early 1990's. I had inside steam cleaned as it had set for a year or two. Gave it a light sand blast, prime with marine primer, and two coats of enamel. Bought the stand at a farm sale and extended height about 2 ft. The tank skids fit into the tank stand perfectly. Added vent, valve and filter and it has been working great for over 25 years. I think my first fill, of red diesel, cost about $0.85/gallon.

I got good news from our LP & fuel supplier. They said they would deliver 55 gallons if I just wanted to fill a 55 gallon drum with a hand pump. So I think I will look around for about a 100 gallon elevated gravity flow.

Thanks ... those look interesting ... like the idea that they are rechargeable and adjustable ... wish they gave some info about how many lumens output they are tho' ...

Good afternoon all. 37F this morning and windy, 1.1 in in rain gauge for storm total of 2.3 . 57F for the high, sunny, and winds slowing later this afternoon. one more cold front tomorrow then a warm up. TMA includes retrieve boat from the cover maker, bike ride and spring maintenance.

Just came back into the house from the crawl space which we use for a tornado shelter...had a warning for our part of the county. Not too bad - about 5 feet of clearance at the entrance door - listened to AM radio while the storm passed over. Several other warnings under way in Virginia, unusual for us, unlike many of you, especially in February...and 68 degrees after a cold rainy morning and the wood stove is burning.

We have a tornado watch now,we're at the northern edge. The wind is steady at about 25 with gusts over 40. Sky is black and a lot of roaring up high. Thunder nearby very humid and 67°, Doesn't look very nice.

You guys stay safe. Tornadoes are nothing to mess with. It is real bad whenever it happens.
We have been lucky so far. Wife came home after a half day but most of the bad has staid to the east of us. It looks like the worst is over here.
