Good morning!!!!

Still under a heat warning and 90% humidity. Crappy air quality.
I wish the TV stations did the Saturday morning cartoons.
Perfect day to plop in front of the tube and see what that Oscar winning Wabbit is up to.
Other than that going to do some laundry and dishes. Maybe a bit of shopping later.
I have a hankering for some corn and a local store has a 12 for $1.80 deal going.
The watermelon I got at Costco the other day is soooo juicy and sweet. Big SOB too. Weighted in at 24.7LBS when I got him home.
I had to adjust the shelving in the fridge to get him in and then just barely.
If you can find me, I'm at the condo, pop in and we'll have a slice and see what adventure George Jetson, Astro and his boy Elroy are into today.

Good morning TBN!!
70 this morning and going to hot. We are supposed to be triple digits actual temps for the next few days.

Back from a long weekend that turned in to a week. Went to Ohio to attend an annual party. Had a great time and saw many that it's the only time we see them. Decided to go alternate way coming back. Mostly US 421 thru Kentucky, Tenn and NC. Absolutely a beautiful drive. Highly recommend especially to bikers.
Part of it is called the snake. From Bristol to Mtn City.

Time for a second cup
Everyone have a great and safe day!!
Stay cool!!

finished my errands, got gas for car, some cash at the atm, and dropped off tomatoes to
another friend.

tried again to get spark plug off rv gen, none of the 5 sizes in my spark plug wrench asst fit on the oem, while one fits just fine
on the spark plug I have to replace the one on there. Not sure what the problem is, clearance or ?

I did fix the missing bracket on the ebike fender, had vibrated off somewhere out West.
replacements came in a four pack, I'll keep one but need to give rest away.
might be a helpful piece of hardware for some application

nice fat tomato ripening on the vine

Morning all, 77 going up to 85 and sunny, some thunder and very brief heavy rains.
Don't think much accumulation though.
Son had his last band concert of the season, they had 9 bands play at his friends house.

Today we might go to the beach if wife feels up to it.
Son has work today.

My Uncle is doing ok, he does seem to forget things we talked about, but he is around 93.
He tells me every call that his friends took him out and they just left, which was probably 3 weeks ago now. But it makes him happy to think it just happened.

Need to plan a weekend trip or two to visit friends and take a cheap vacation. been difficult with college planning, work and other stuff going on.

Where is PJS and the others?

Be well.

Lots of bushes and trees need trimming again, been too hot to run around with the pole saw and trimmer though. This pine has grown so long I wonder if it will tip? Time to reign it in, 3rd trim for this year to be scheduled. Of course deer in the background, hard to get a picture outside without them in the frame.
If I trim the main stem a few feet, do I need to treat the end ?

good morning, 80 going to 88 sunny with a thunderstorm possible

Worked on the digging up dirt at the wall project again before it gets too warm. Cody has to be with me or he will protest. Closely supervised. Also walked and inspected other projects in progress. As they say "Rome was not built in a day"

Another picture of the driveway tree clean up taking out a large leaning tree and a dead pine tree

Ken, your yard looks nicer than middle earth in the movies. Sorry about your Uncle's memory. Seems like he's good within his own realm.

Thanks all for the pics.

Trying to get some things done today. Need a quick trip to town to get some 1/4 and 3/8 fuel line. Also hopefully the orange colored piston seal from my 430 FEL's lift cylinder. Not sure what type of material they make those out of. But they are proud of them.

Bought a new fuel pump for the Steiner Beast. It is what needs the new fuel lines too. Having to crawl under it out in the sun. Good thing for large sheets of cardboard. It's been with me for about 5 years this October IIRC.

Wifey made me a chocolate breakfast smoothie. Still trying to drop some weight, but unfortunately not 100% dedicated. I sneak a fry here and there.

Prayers for our team.

I was thinking that would make quite a bang if it hit the moon.
perhaps the "man in the moon" should be worried
ok scientists, how long will it take for the bang to get to us if it hits the moon?
BUT
Sound waves are created by vibrations, such as a speaker, for example, which causes the air around it to vibrate and creates sound waves that can be heard. But on the Moon, there is no air to vibrate, and since sound waves require a medium in order to travel, no sound can be heard.

Ken what kind of bush/vine do you have by the gazebo that looks like a bird with wings spread and how do you have it supported?
