good morning all
up early, 73 out now, all it ever got down to last night, but today will be cooler

after another cup of coffee will decide what Saturday projects to get into.
since the install kit for the shock absorbers finally showed up at 6pm last night, taking them
to garage to see if this is what they need. Likely I have to order another and owner is on vacation next week so
this isn't getting done any time soon anyway.

before the rain last night, I washed my car and did so intentionally so I didn't have to dry it off.
my well water is acidic and leaves terrible mineral spots on car paint, learned that the hard way.
But if mother nature will provide the final rinse, that saves some work. A quarter inch of rain over next half hour
got the job done.

I wonder how many more tomatoes will ripen today
I can only eat one a day in my sandwich, so soon will start having to chop them up and freeze them.
I make a chili in the winter with them.
too many cherry tomatoes come in for me to eat, I only planted one cherry tomato plant but
far more than I can eat.

Coffee is brewing. 68° with cloudy skies this morning. Heading to 80° with thunderstorms in late afternoon. .13" rain yesterday. PT was tuff yesterday. Still have some pain in left foot this morning. Need to do some exercises today. Not sure what I will get into today.
Indigo Bunting keeps coming back to feeder. It is small and fast. Making hard to get pictures.

Morning all!
61 going to 83.
Been to hot to get anything done outside. Stayed in the house or played in the shop.
Neck is doing better! Just need to be careful how quick I move.
Today we will venture out and get some visiting done.
Nothing much going on or planned. We do have a few meet ups for breakfast this coming week. Guess that's it for updates.

Apple trumpet bowl. Really thin walls. Was fun to turn without popping thru!

Tried turning a piece of Hackberry for the first time. Never heard of it before this. Nice wood to turn.


Grabbed a pic of two of the cigar holders. Names covered as I don't have permission.

Working on a couple more as always!

Good morning! 77˚F heading to the low 90s with cloud cover and S winds keeping away the 100s. 10% chance of needed rain this evening. Water temp before sunrise 83˚, it has been rising to 88˚ during the sunny afternoons.

Porch ceiling fan started right up, it is a fix.

A brisk walk this morning and Water volleyball today at the big pool. The varnishing of outdoor wood furniture will be delayed, a wait for cooler temps. Our two year old Rock Rose plant has flowers that are blooming and attracting humming birds. The deer don't devour this bush so I will plant more in the Fall. I found a nursery in Bastrop that carries them, I'll also try to start the seeds our one plant is producing.

The new Apple Watch coming out will have a dehydration monitor, that will probably temp me enough to get one. Trips to the ER to get liquids through an IV are not fun and it does sneak up on you.

I read that in late 2032, seven years from now, they predict a 200 foot wide asteroid called YR4 to just miss
the Earth. It is the largest dangerous flying object in modern history and thankfully it will just miss us.
But now they are worried it will hit the moon. And who will be on the moon at that moment trying to plant a flag.
plus asteroid is big enough to kick off lots of space dust much less wiping out the space station.

I was thinking that would make quite a bang if it hit the moon.
perhaps the "man in the moon" should be worried
ok scientists, how long will it take for the bang to get to us if it hits the moon?

that asteroid will likely get the preppers fired up.

let's see, if I put away 300 cans of baked beans a year, in 7 years...

went out and fed the birds and wiped down my clean but wet car.
I love this time of day, before the sun gets up high enough to clear the trees.
I can see a ton of cherry tomatoes out there so headed back to pick.

not sure how deyhdration monitor works but sounds like a great idea Don.

57F mostly sunny day low 80's for high nice comfortable humidity level.

Outside chores done E muffin time.
Plans for today...remove medicine cabinet install new one,going to be cutting hammering drilling afternoon prep new spot in basement for water tank replacement.

Good Morning
76° and sunny. Forecast to stay that way with a high of 85.

Yesterday was unbearably hot, thunderstorms rolled through around 5, leaving us 1/4” of rain and peak winds in the 30’s.

Spent some time with the old guys at the RC field, puttered in the shop and did a Costco run. Didn’t accomplish much else.

Today starts with the memorial service for my friend and drummer that passed away a couple of weeks ago.

I’ve got no plans after that, be interesting to see what finds me.
