since 2014 Minis have had
much better design, engineering and build. And became good cars.

If I was living or working downtown in Houston, DFW, or Austin I would absolutely have a Mini Cooper for local use.

You forgot about the first 40 years of Minis!
The Austin, Morris and BMC built ones.
Actually a completely different platform whose appearance was mimicked by BMW.
The original Minis were smaller. I had a 1965 Cooper S with the 1275cc engine, and it was quite sporty.

But were they as small as an Isetta?

I worked at a service station in 1970 and a guy drove up in a King Midget. He was a dwarf so it was the right car for him. I think it had 10" tires!

Good Morning TBN GM thread!

Still cool and cloudy in east Texas. 49F Wind Gusting to 7 mph. Going to warm up and clear off later for a few hours this afternoon.

3" rain a few days ago was nice and is drying up some now. Got a renewal notice for a trailer tag so I'll take care of that online. Very simple process. Renew and pay online. In a week or so the new sticker arrives in the mail.

Put up a new gate between two properties. I'm sure liking the convenience of not having to around to get something from one place to the other.

Glad to read that everyone seems to be doing well and staying warm!

When turtles are returned, call the police & give them their "reward".

Keep it interesting! I’ve owned some very fast cars over the years, and surprisingly enough, they haven’t always been the most fun!

Yesterday proved to be a wet one

Good the Christmas stuff done and in the mail. Most of the rest of day inside doing computer stuff. Maybe semi productive.

Japanese restaurant was fabulous. Had eaten there only one other time, precovid and not impressed
Last night everything was excellent including service. Definitely going back for sushi.
