Good Morning.
73° and sunny, gonna be a hot one as it gets into the 90’s. Chance of thunderstorms this afternoon.
Yesterday was another day that I managed to stay busy.
A friend made me wooden blinds for our bedroom, they came out great, I installed them yesterday.
I gave him the stain that I used on the trim, and even though he used poplar, and the trim is pine, it matched perfectly.
Next project was to mow the pastures, of course when I went to grease the mower, I had to replace the cartridge in the grease gun. This is always a messy job for me, getting it primed, but it’s all done. Of course, I just remembered that I didn’t get the u joints on the drive line.
Made some more progress in the shop, got the trash and recycling to the street and called it a day.

Good Morning to all who Celebrate! 78° going to a high of 95° (Yeouch) sticky, hot sun out there now. 'puter says rain in 3 hours, but I'm pretty sure it's lying to me.
Whirlwind of a week this week, despite work being slower, my boss has been in and out this week with car trouble and today he's out getting the snip. Better him than me. I can officially report that I've finally finished the process of purchasing the trailer, now just need to title and tag it.
Truck can definitely tell that's back there, lost a mile per gallon towing it home. I can't imagine what it's going to be once the tractor's on it. The equipment area out behind the pole barn grows. Now I can tow whatever I want, when I want. As long as it's at or less than 7,000 lbs.
Items that remain: Finish mowing, need to get a socket for the trailer lug nuts and re-torque them. Still got a day left before the parents return, I also need to order flowers for Mom's birthday on Sunday. She's turning 21 again.
Scott, not my son, my nephew. Though my girlfriend would be overjoyed to claim him.
Stay safe out there everyone! Lots of water, fluids and A/C! Get the heavy outside chores done in the morning or evening. If it can wait, let it wait!

Morning all, 79 going to 96 and sunny.
Got some vines removed from bushes, garden watered and off into town last night for some time by the river and to pick up some dinner. So nice when there are less tourists.
Some tomatoes and a makita chain showed up this morning, so will sharpen that later and use the tomatoes as mine are still green.
Back to the day job.

Time to move the milkweed pods to the back area before they open. Don't see any Monarch eggs, oh well, I tried.

Radar showing an area of showers over by Mansfield headed our way … if it holds up.
Had a brief shower last night around 23:00, didn’t last all that long but rained pretty hard … hard enough to hear it over the tv.
Not sure what all on agenda for today.
Dole out meds for coming week.
Might try to get some arborvitae planted in between the raindrops.
Maybe put up more summer squash in the freezer.
Call and make medical appointment.
See what else comes up.
