Tell AT&T you want your money back for those speeds. Your not much better than dial-up.

Unless you have a really old wi-fi router, wi-fi makes no difference. Find a techie and have them stand beside you when you call BS on AT&T.

Thanks for taking the speed test guys. Rigustafson's Exceed sounds like the place I may have to go if the speed drops below 2Mbps. Tonight it is holding at 3Mbps. Rick is that unlimited, and less than $80 a month?

It's $60 / month for 10 gB (8 am to 2 am) and $10 /gB for additional data. Also another 10 gB / month for 2 am to 8 am.

It was a little sad to learn this morning that David Bowie has passed away.

I remember walking into a disco many years ago and being introduced to a girl by the ticket collector with a nod in my direction and the words "dance with him Julie". As we walked into the hall Suffragette City was playing at full blast. I have been a bit of a Bowie fan ever since.

What happened to the lovely Julie ? She is still fast asleep, upstairs in my bed.

37 degrees going up to only 44 today in a cooler drier trend. My helper finished moving all the sand and stone yesterday, I'll go down later to see how he did.
But first unfortunately I'm off to the oral surgeon today for a complicated tooth removal and then likely I'll just feel sorry for myself the rest of the day...
The worst part is no coffee, no food. Gonna get grouchy soon...

Internet was moving right along this morning, 70 up, 8 down. Boy I bet some of you out in the country would like those speeds. It would be like "shazaam!"

Good Morning. 0435, clear, 32F with 87% humidity. Forecast high of 49F with no chance of rain today, and a low of 29F tonight. I haven't poked my head out but I'm guessing we have a pretty white frost this morning. The cold kept me inside last night. Though I did go down to the camp late yesterday afternoon and make a pot of coffee. I practiced my compass skills in the river swamps earlier in the day. Cold not too bad in the swamp. Not sure what I will get into today before work.

That is sad news. I saw him in Norfolk or Hampton Va during my Navy days. It was the China Girl tour, 1982 or there about. A very well crafted show. When all the lights would go out and they would hit him with a single white spot, him all dressed in white, he just shined. I'll have to dig out my old DB CD's and give them a spin this morning.

Drew, I had a molar come in as a weak tooth as a kid...managed to keep it until about 10 years ago...had a dentist work on a root canal...doing part of it during each of 4 visits...never got it right, and I think really botched it, so finally went to an oral surgeon and had it removed...worked out great.

AT&T High Speed Internet Speed Test

Rick the one thing I do like about this small internet company is anytime unlimited data that is standard. Their Service dept. is off on weekends so if your service goes out Friday Evening it will be Monday afternoon before someone is sent out. If holidays also are in the mix like what happened to me it could be 10 days without service. I think they also let about half their people off on vacation in-between Christmas and New Years.

Eric you must really have some good disco moves to snatch up Julie that quick. Good thing I did not have to depend on my moves. Whenever I discoed in the 70'S I was just an embarrassment to my future wife. Our song was a slow dance - "Colour my World" by Chicago.
