Overcast for day 4 in a row, so far in August we've had 15 days with high temps between 15-20 degrees below normal. Today is supposed to clear and get to around 80, then so was yesterday.

Today we will deceive our dog. We will trick him into his cage for his trip to town and yearly vaccinations. She hates enclosed spaces. She has a extra sense and will probably be elusive. Just as she starts to trust us enough to pick her up we do this and then we have to start the training all over for the next year. Poor stray Whipper, she must have had a traumatizing childhood someplace (or just a crazy dog with phobias).

Good morning. 1100, mostly cloudy, 86 with 80% humidity. Forecast high is 88 {almost there already} with 70% chance of thunderstorms. The sun is shining now, but they say this afternoon will bring more rain. The showers skipped us yesterday. That is maybe 5 days in the last 45 without rain.

Those peaches look good Wayne. We could sure use some of them for dirtditch's spicy habanero peach jam.
