73°F and clear skies this morning, going up to 93° today. Looks like the heat has returned here for a few days, back into the mid-90s through Tuesday.

The ureteral stent was removed a week ago yesterday - that was no fun - and with any luck, this kidney stone ordeal is now behind me. I know a handful of people who've gone through this more than once, and I can't imagine it ever gets any better. I'm perfectly OK with one and done.

Took the day off work today to celebrate the completion of my 59th trip around the sun. I sure don't feel 59. Where does all that time go ...?

Good evening all. 77ºF for the start, partly cloudy sky, light breeze. Light wind, brisk gusts, afternoon buildups, and high temp was 97ºF, HI 106ºF. Made coffee to start day, made oatmeal for breakfast, office work. Got ready to ride bike and saw riding buddy back from Ragbrai and Minnesota and talked to him, two other rides showed up before I could start, ended up with 21 minutes of stop time. Nap after lunch, more office work, made a good batch of chalupas for dinner. Early start in morning.

possible light showers this morning then clearing up, which is good because I have a post wedding
picnic to go to in West Orange NJ this afternoon. Havent been up that way in a long time.
My family used to own a small piece of land, we think my grandfather's old car repair/dealership,
downtown in West Orange and on the way to the picnic will go take a pic of it. It's now sold off to the family that
ran a gas station there for 30 years, and now he passed away last year. Actually with google street view, I know exactly what
it looks like, no changes in a long time. Tiny lot but one of few inner city gas stations left so it does some business.

My lifelong friend's son's new wife from Phillipines will be there with her whole family. He's 42 and first wife, parents and I have been
waiting a long time for this.

68 this morning with sun and clouds. Chance of Tstorms.

Got a piece of the tank cut off and called it a day on the tank. I need to weld a hook to it and get it in place to use as a form.
Worked on my trail a bit but probably did more harm then good. Too muddy to do to much. Got some of the mud churned up and I'll give it some more time to dry out.
A little more cleaning sorting and puttering.
Plan today is a town run to pick up a couple of things and then bring them home and use them.

Time for a second cup.

59 going to 84.
Have two sisters and a friend/coworker coming for a visit this weekend. Should keep me busy! One sister will sleep overnight.

Been a week of just puttering about. To hot and no rain have had us out watering the plants to try and keep them alive. Lawn is brown and dormant so no mowing.

Nothing new medically! Good news for us.

Not sure what we will be doing next week. Maybe take a ride up into New Hampshire to check out a few historic sites. We'll beep on the way by Thomas.

Quite a few projects in the wood shop. Will only post one. Large cherry burl got made into a candy dish. 10 inch round by 6 high. Black palm used on the burl.

The wind needs to pick up a lot more before I venture outside today.

Ron, your earthpig/groundhog/woodchuck would look good with a little 1/4" hole between it's eyes.

Time to get breakfast into me and decide what else I will get up to today.

good morning, 72 going to 87 cloudy conditions no rain in the Fc

Offloaded the lumber from the trailer and stood it upright leaning against the mezzanine floor. Plan to later stack it on the West end mezzanine. Blew off the trailer with compressed air to get debris and leaves off it. Torqued the four wheels to 130 ft lbs not being sure what the Dayton style wheels require. Do not see this style with wedges and no centers on the rims much any more. Aired up tires to 115 PSI.

I think my dislike for doing tire work goes back to changing tires on big trucks that used the split rings and no safety cage

Will see what may happen today. Hope wife can sleep in a little

Nothing accomplished yesterday that needed attention. Found two more ground bee/yellow jacket nests. One in a building, again. Had to call in the pro. again for the building. I think we are up to two pro call ins and four nests in total. The nests don't have just a few bees....
Here is the one we are harvesting this fall.

Thanks Mostly, tractor is gone. He needs to come back for the plow, this fella knows absolutely nothing about tractors
But he played the full price and didn’t ask any questions.

Just made bacon for the grands. Taking them to a petting zoo later this morning. Swimming this afternoon and we are taking them out for dinner later today

Blasted the yellow jacket nest with Raid wasp spray. Killed them dead.

Took son to practice tennis. He's trying to put too much "English" on his server. I can't get around much, but I can still hit the ball if not too far from me.

We got a shower from the tropical depression but it looks like that was all she had.
