Went to barn today to start assembling the genie garage door opener. Found one bag of parts missing. Bought this many yrs ago at Costco. The manual was on a shelf in the garage, will have to look if I might have moved the missing parts. Every bag color coded, missing the orange bag.

Son decided not to go to pig roast, so I went with my wife so she didn’t have to go alone.

RNG the repair on the ice maker is not looking good. I noticed the plastic arm that shuts the machine off will not come down. A new ice maker is about $70 BUT the reviews said this did not fix the problem of no ice. My neighbor had another builders refrigerator like this and they also had a repairman come out to fix theirs. he replaced the ice maker also and still no ice. He then told them it was some internal fuse underneath???? and the repair would not be worth it and just to buy another refrigerator. My wife has been wanting a new one anyway but we were going to wait till next year. If I can't find any encouraging reviews on the ice maker we might be getting a new refrigerator sooner.

Don, underneath is a solenoid that opens for water flow. They can get compromised by age or charcoal from a water filter. Are you getting water?

Good evening all. 69F for the start, partly cloudy, light wind. Wind was light to moderate, sky partly cloudy to mostly clear, high temp 93F HI 98. Nice day for a bike ride, 5 hours total time, 4 hr 12 min moving time, 53 miles so more leisurely pace. Nap after lunch, nothing else accomplished

RNG sorry the code did not convince the ECU the fan was there. I was always a slow adopter of updates, because it was a pain to back out, and untested code usually broke more than it fixed.

Buckeye, good to know the wife likes having you around. Sorry about the nerve pain, hope it is a sign the nerves are getting better.

The water dispenser is working fine. With the ice fill lever stuck up (thinks the ice bucket is full) no water is allowed to fill the ice tray.

I ordered a Reolink POE IP 5 MP outdoor camera for $40 as a prime deal. Tonight I got it working with my Dahua NVR. Unfortunately my NVR is now full. Could not get it working with my other IP camera app on the phone, but it has its own app I can use. This camera also has SD card slot. This is less than half price of the last IP camera I bought. Not PTZ but a nice camera for the price.

Now to get some IP cables out over the porch ceiling.

Good morning all. I had hoped to move around the hay racks to get ready for colder weather, however fields are saturated after another night of heavy rain. I don't want to start the usual winter mud mess early, the tractor can have another day of rest.

RNG, we know you have lot's of patience, but have you thought of also buying a cheap 10mm wrench ? Would save a lot of time retrieving that Snap-On from the safe deposit box

Kk 5 AM, can’t sleep any more. (Fussing about the garage soffit boards, now that the siding is all up.)

Leaves have pretty much peaked. Lovely misty morning yesterday as the sun rose over the hill behind us and crept down the trees across the bay. Then another nice view down at the dock after sunset.
