yes, I was surprised too. But that what it is. I hear what you're saying, but why would a intake air heater run through a dash mounted glow coil?
here are some pics

Just an FYI, the glow plugs for my old Ford 4 cyl read about 0.2 - 0.3 ohms and draw 40-50 amps each.

online at www.sparkplugs.com have glow plugs. If you have a number, they may be able to cross it. But not cheap! $31 each for mine...

I guess I'm confused, but that looks like a picture of an oil pressure switch, or at least that's what it looks like to me.

I'm confused also. I, too, only see an oil pressure switch.

The glow plugs are on the head somewhere screwed into the combustion chamber. They may not have a wire going from plug to plug but should have a bar. There is a wire going to the rear glow plug. I just took mine out, held them with a set of pliers and turned the key. Of course I had them all still connected electrically. They will get hot quick. If they don't they could be bad.

I agree, glow plugs are not located in the block, they are in the head, and there is 1 per cylinder on every diesel I ever worked on. You have a 2 cylinder so there should be 2 on your unit. That unit in your picture looks like a sending unit.

Thanks ... It's just that I traced the wire going through the pre-glow push button and it seems to go to that location. I guess I traced it wrong. It must be these guys then, right?

There you go,.... the little ones with the wire, not the big ones with the fuel lines.
