Hi, all:
Over the winter, the tractor has had a bit of a workout. I need some repairs, but unsure how to go about them.
1) The glow plugs indicator no longer lights when I turn the key to the pre-ignition setting. Is there a thermostat for these so that the glow plugs don't work when the ambient air is warm? I checked the two fuse boxes that I could find and neither one indicated that they were for the glow plugs. I would like to try to fix this myself if anyone can suggest anything that I could try?
2) I can't remove one half of the PTO shaft from the snow blower that was attached to the tractor. There is a quick release coupler there but I have tried everything to get it off. It's clean and I tried some WD40 on it. Perhaps the collar isn't able to be pushed in far enough? I don't want to damage it from being forceful. Anyone with a suggestion would be helpful.
Sorry for the Newbie questions. The only manual that I ever found is in Chinese.
Thank you!
