Hello everyone!

This is my first year with my 2516, and have a winter question.... I am getting ready to put the mowing implements away, and thinking of the snow we will get this year. With the industrial tires, what chains do you recommend? I have an older cement drive uphill to the street, and live on the access road to the highway (love when the plows go by and bury the end of the drive!

I have read about what is better to user; 3 point blade or FEL I have both...

I have found an online retailer, but am not sure what style of chains to get?

Advice is greatly appreciated!

I don't have the hill you have but my 2516 didn't have any trouble with the 18inch of snow we had last year. I used a 5ft rear blade and my loader in 4wd....

I have standard chains (I think they call them three links chains) that I keep on the tractor year around. When you select the chains make sure that you select chains for the industrial tires as they are different than for Ag tires of the same size.

1*I have both...
2*what chains do you recommend?
1*Both
Here is my FEL. Here is my front blade.

No chains on either of these tractors.
2*I would see how it goes this winter with out them .
Like I did you might find out you don't need chains.
I'm glad I don't have the hassle of puting them on and taking them off.
